    Found Accidentally

Was shopping at B'way Panhandler and wanted something for lunch. Walking around and spotted the place. Had burgers--really really good. Would never have thought burger on a Pita would work. Was very pleasantly surprised. Would definitely recommend.

Soho original, a really GOOD deal

This place is the second oldest bar in Soho (the oldest if you count original owners only). It was here when artist's were in the lofts nearby before Soho became yuppified. Some of the originals are still coming here. With it's wooden floor and wide bar and stained glass light behind the bar it remains the kind of meeting place it has been for over 30 years. You can still feel like you are in Soho here. The reason it has survived the changes in Soho is that it is so reasonably priced with such good simple food. I love the 1/2 sandwich and cup of soup combo for lunch or a light dinner and the French toast on the weekends. my wife loves the Margarita's.

    French Toast!

Their French toast, with great texture (crisp surface, tender interior) and flavor (eggy with a hint of orange glaze), is on a par with the best anywhere. These guys have been serving up this stuff for decades. It's just a shame I don't get there more often. Now, the ham that comes with it, well, I ask them to swap in bacon, but let's not quibble here.

    Phenomenal Burgers!

Brooms Street has amazing burgers! They serve it in a pita that just melts to the burger. Fries are to die for. Truly incredible. Great sandwiches and nachos as well.
