Could be good
The bartender was great but the waiter was curt and surly. Don't make the mistake of asking what the specials are or he'll bark out "They're on the board!!!!" Can't rate the food because I didn't eat it but other than the waiter it seemed like a cool little place. Very old NY.

Best place in NYC for a beer & a burger
It kills me to see people complain about the price of food in this place. It's NYC and this place is famous. Ken can charge whatever he wants. (PS $8 for a burger in NYC aint bad). Many a cow have met their fate on that original grill that has been there since 1972. I worked there in college and still go back when I can for the bacon bleu. It never tastes different and the beer selection keeps getting better.

Great Burger & Salad!
I went here for lunch. The price was a bit high, but right for the area. The burger was just right and in a pita, so much tastier. Also the side salad had a different type of sauce on it, very innovative. Loved it.

Pita Down! Pita Down!
I work near by so after seeing these great reviews I was hoping to have another weekly lunch stop...nope. Burger in a pita? Heating up a patty of ground beef does not make it a burger. Tasteless, wrong temp and the pita... Cute place, decent beer selection. The bartender was either hung over or not used to being up before 3pm. Worth trying? Maybe after so many others have enjoyed it, but not for me.

Great Place
I've gone twice in the last 2 weeks based on the reviews on menupages. The burgers in a pita are some of the best in the city. And the french toast is fabulous; the best. Service is good and the atmosphere is above average. They're usually busy, but I've never seem them jam packed enough to have to wait longer than a few minutes. Definitely a place I'll be going back to regularly to try some of their other entrees, drinks, and desserts. I highly recommend them.

A great find!
We literally stumbled upon this place. Went for drinks and desserts. Waitress was very friendly, atmosphere very warm and friendly. Hung out here for a couple hours, and really enjoyed ourselves. Will come back again to try the food, as they had quite an extensive menu for a bar.

Great time
We were looking for a place to grab a bite before catching a film at the tribecca cinema's last night. The food was exactly what we wanted, our waitress was extremely nice and rushing all over trying to help everyone. It was the perfect spot for dinner. I'll definitely go back.
