reasonabley priced?
OK it is a good spot if you compare it to the meat packing district, but come on it is way over priced.

My "go-to" place!"
Really like the food at this place. Portions are great for the price. We try to go at least 3 or 4 times a month.

love this spot
the service is slow at times but the food is always good. the burgers and mussels especially. the vibe is also great. i go at least once a month.

good days..bad days
I love going here because I know I'll always be satisfied with the meal. They are always consistent with the portions, the price is reasonable and the food is consistent and tasty. They always change their beer list which is also great. I would like it if they could switch up the specials a bit because they have had the same specials since september. The staff is hit or miss. Most of the waiters and waitresses work their butts off and are polite, courteous and helpful. There are a few though that could not give you the time of day. The last time I was their my waitress walked past my table six times before I could get her attention on something I needed. She never asked how anything was, if we needed anything or if we needed drink refills. The worst part is that there was only one other table being served as it was late afternoon before the dinner rush came in. After she took away our plates and asked if we wanted the bill did she finally ask if we wanted refills. Totally weird. For the most part great place, definitely try the chicken club blt, thats my fav. calamari is also good.

It depends...
Bar prices are way too high for this type of place in Brooklyn. But... the place gets much better when bartender Mel is working. Keir is ok too. Waiteresses Georgia and Natalija are very nice, their service is great, and also both are very pretty... (wink wink) Briefly - it all depends who's working on a particular day/night.

Burger Review
We're better off with the Public House in the neighborhood. Great beer, but the burgers disappoint. Greasy and tasted seasoned, like a meatloaf. Brioche bun was so yesterday. Odd overall. The dubious patty was cooked well past temperature, and ruined with two overseasoned oil sponges posing as onion rings. Bacon was raw, but flavorful! For take out make sure you ask for plenty of napkins and extra ketchup. The two packets are enough for one bite.
