Nice place and great service
Brooklyn Moon is one the best places in brooklyn, I went there on a Friday night, and the two waitresses are the best servers. The only thing is tho the food takes a long time to come, but the drinks makes up for the wait. It's my new Friday nights spot.

I really wanted to like this place...
Was in Mood for Jerk Chicken so me and my girlfriend decided to give this place a try. Two orders of Jerk Chicken to-go came out to a total of $28.15. For that kind of money I expected at the very least a "good" meal... NOPE. Rice and chicken were blah. Portions are minute- two bites and it's gone. Gave this place another try today. This time I took advantage of their daily $5 special. Strike 2! Chicken was rough and very bland. Rice again was blah.

Fancy Spot Not Worth The Wait!
A friend and I ate here and waited 30 minutes for our tasteless honey bbq chicken wing appetizers and another 45 minutes for our entree. This place is not worth it! It's fancy on the outside and inside but the prices are outrageous for the poor quality of food they serve.

Hidden Gem
Brooklyn Moon is easy to overlook. It's dark inside and a bit small. But the food more than makes up for that. I had their salmon salad, which was extremely filling and well-seasoned. Their guava lemonade is to die for. They'd be perfect if they had a dessert menu.

Not thrilled
I've been wanting to try this place for a few years, but I wasn't thrilled at all. It took 15 minutes to get our drinks, and this was after reminding our server.. When refilling our water, she missed the glass, spilling half of the water on the table and floor. The food was so so -- greens were good, macaroni was just okay, and the crab cakes were not good at all. I came, I saw, I won't be back.

Worst Service
The food is great but the service sucks. I've known this place for years and the only reason that I hesitate to go is because of the service. Be prepared to wait at least an hour for your food. The waiter takes forever to come to your table, to bring water etc. No A/C in the hot summer!
