    Yummmmy

I am addicted to their veggie burger and fries (you have to ask for the fries or they give you salad) and I'm not even a vegetarian! A little expensive ($9 veg burger) but the portions are big and delicious!

    "Brooklyn Label" is EXCELLENT

Very enjoyable and delicious dinner! Tomato and Mozzarella incredibly fresh - homemade mozzarella. Tuna Tartare - oh my gosh - could have easily had another one! Seared Swordfish - REALLY tasty . Give it a try - you will definitely have a fabulous meal.

    great!

I absolutely love Brooklyn Label! the food and coffee are always so good and really hit the spot. Its true that brunch can be a little crazy, but worth it. Also, I dont know why everyone is saying that its overpriced - this is New York City people. If you cant pay city prices for good food then maybe you shouldn't be living here. Also, the service is warm and friendly and they all seem really knowledgeable. All in all, a great dining experience!

    Saturday brunch. Not good.

Saturday brunch. Not good. I had been coming here since it opened, mainly because I live behind the place, so it is easy. Never great, but good, never consistent, but always passable. There was no excuse for what has happened. We were told to wait, approx 20 minutes, while us and the other folks on the list just stared at an empty table. Finally we said something, got a surprised look from the hostess and got seated. Then the waitress, pleasant enough, comes by to take the orders, come back with coffee, then takes off, we have to get the milk and sugar for the coffee from the to go station and 1 friend suffers through a rancid lavender fizzy. We get our food, and each dish is quite different from the last time we had it, and subpar. Flavorless and overpriced. The huevos rancheros was $13, smaller than ever, lacking most of what we've come to expect, like sour cream, salsa, cheese, and a lot of guac. What we got was small fried tortilla, black beans, white rice, a little guac, a little hot sauce. The tofu and potatoes was bland and I had to smother it in "salsa verde". It only looked like it had curry. (funny compared to a previous poster's experience, right?) We ordered a plain bagel and got a burned and buttered bagel. It should have never made it to our table. The waitress never once checked in on us (just dropped the orders and ran). It wasn't too busy, so there's no excuse. There used to be lines of people waiting to get in, but not anymore and it's easy to see why. Makes me sad. In my neighborhood?! It belongs in Times Square. Eating out should be enjoyable. This just made me and my friends feel disappointed. And the Phil Collins soundtrack didn't help.

    are you kidding me?

I went here with my daughter and I have to say this was disgustingly expensive and NOT family friendly. Why does a waffle cost so much for the portions?

    not that great

i have a bunch of friends who live in greenpoint and say that brooklyn label is the enid's/relish/diner/dumont of greenpoint. not even close. the food is really bland and expensive. i couldn't even eat the tofu scramble that i got for brunch since it was soggy and drenched in curry powder. everyone else i was with was very underwhelmed as well.
