dislike this place
the music is unappealing and way too loud, service is poor, food is great but portions are way too small for the price.

Not good for delivery
The burgers are good but they don't seem to like delivering them. Every time I've called, they tell me it's going to be an hour or that I live too far away (which is only 6 blocks).

Go some place else
Saturday 2:00pm, they were busy but not packed, We had a table right away and 2 of the like 10 tables were empty, the server was just like a robot, no hey how are you, needless to mention that no recommendations and the couple of questions me and my wife asked were answered by a shoulder move, mouth noise and some facial expression. We both ordered a milkshake and water, my wife got her chocolate milkshake, pretty good to be honest, and not that mixing chocolate ice-cream is that difficult. I ordered the lamb and she the vegetarian and one order of fries, after maybe 30 minutes and ask for water 3 times, my wife finally went to the bar to get the water, the server was hanging there waiting for my milkshake but the bartender didn't want to make it until at least 2 orders of the same were placed. He wasn't busy but just too cool of a bartender to make that $10.00 special shake they brag about in their menu. We finally got our food, (50 minutes) I liked mine as so my wife, finally right after the last bite, the server brought my milkshake, I didn't want it anymore and of course we left the place dissatisfied.

Go somewhere else
We paid $30 for 2 small 7oz. cheeseburgers on generic Wonderbread buns, 1 order of shoestring fries (from frozen) and 1 vanilla shake with Hersheys syrup masquerading as a Black&White shake. The food would be ok if not for the outrageous prices. For a better deal and better quality I'd go to Five Guys. Or if I want a really excellent burger - I'd recommend Johnny Mac's on 8th.

Excellent burgers, terrifying prices
I'm not sure why this place doesn't have a higher rating. I LOVE their burgers! Always cooked perfectly, lots of flavor, variety of optional toppings. Best waffle fries EVER! And they have every type of burger you could imagine — classic, Kobe, bison, lamb, portabello mushroom, veggie, beef burger stuffed with blue cheese. The decor and atmosphere is what you would expect for a burger-joint: nothing special, but comfortable, with lots of space and some outdoor seating. Flipsters does have one major issue though: Their food is ridiculously expensive for a burger place. The burgers themselves are a normal price for NYC, but they charge a lot for each topping, and the burgers don't come with fries — an order of their delicious waffle fries is $4! I usually spend approx. $17-$20 on myself when I eat here.

Not recommended
The food is below standard, the service poor. If you want a burger, go somewhere else.
