    Pricey but very satisfying....

We came here to try the 15 inch hot dog but changed our mind when we saw the $15 sticker price. Instead we ordered the pigs in blanket for half the price and it was just as good. Pot roast was okay but the show stealer was definitely the mac and cheese. As the waiter described, it is not your standard elbows and cheddar cheese. The dish is made with tagliatelle pasta, ham and a light creamy white sauce that was reminiscent of the kind used in fetuccini alfredo. The service here was friendly. Would definitely return.

    Eggs Benedict Yum Yum

Whenever I miss breakfast at home this place has some damn good eggs benedict, stay away from the healthy food as it tastes not-so-great, they have a great team on the grill. I don't recommend the Chicken pot pie.

    Good 15-bite hotdog, ok cheesecake

Brooklyn Diner's 15-bite Brookyn hotdog is thee BEST hotdog in New York. It is thick, juicy, and hearty. Nothing like the boiled hotdogs that need a ton of condiments to give it taste. The hotdog is huge, the bun is light and soft, and the string fries are better than their onion rings. Their famous Strawberry Blonde Cheesecake is not as good as a strawberry cheesecake from other places though. I blame the odd crust. Brooklyn diner pats the side of the cheesecake with some crisps that do not make up for the normal flakey crusts that standard cheesecakes come with. All in all, the 15-bite hotdog is fantastic. Try it!

We ate here 4 times in 1 week (3 breakfasts, and 1 late meal at 11pm). Each time the food and service were faultless. The wait staff were excellent and very attentive. Highlights on the menu include the polenta, pancakes, french toast (to die for!), macaroni & cheese and the famous strawberry blonde cheesecake. You can just feel the calories going straight to the hips, but boy is it worth it. Highly recommended!

    Just Excellent

Visited on 10/12/05 (uk date), the welcome was great and very friendly made us feel really at home. We only flew in for a long weekend the day before and this was our first proper meal as we had just had so much to do. We both orderd the house burger and fries and we would recommend this to anyone it was very filling but everything on the plate was cooked to perfection including the thinly sliced onion rings which were just divine. We will be visiting the same place for food on our next visit without a doubt. EXCELLENT.
