Amazing!
i had the best time at the brooklyn diner! the host was friendly and our server, emily, was fantastic! food was delicious, portions were huge, and the entire dining experience was excellent! cant wait to come back to ny to visit the BK diner again!

Love the Brooklyn Diner!
It's not haute cuisine, but the Brooklyn Diner's excellent comfort food is yummy. Their burgers are among the best in the city, even their plain salad is fresh and delicious (excellent blue cheese dressing, too). O.k., their prices are higher than the typical coffee shop, but the quality is high, and worth the extra couple of bucks. I was there Saturday, and the hostess and our server were pleasant and cheerful. Everything, even the bathrooms, was spotless at peak lunch/pre-theater time.

Way expensive
Lunch entrees for two, plus one beer and one egg cream($5 for milk and seltzer!) was well over $50. Fries were lousy, burger was excellent, (maybe the best I've ever had outside of home), pot roast was OK. But way way way overpriced.

Not worth the cost
I ate here with a friend (both of us are NY'ers) and we were both shocked at the prices. The food was ok, the atmosphere was enjoyable, but neither one of us could get past the cost. Given it's in the middle of Times Square, I'm sure they'll do just fine.

Price Makes the Food Taste Bad
Tourists beware! This is just a place that takes your money and makes you think you ate somewhere authentic in NYC. The food there is pretty decent, but at the prices they charge, good food just went bad. I expect to pay more in Times Square, but this is just a gold plated IHOP. Save your money.

Disappointed
I was disappointed when I ate here. When I hear diner, I think, lots of variety, fast service, and reasonable prices. You'll find none of that here. The night we went the restaurant was really quiet, yet the services was slow. Our appetizers arrived cold and menu selection just wan't there. Food was pricey, but to be fair, the portions were huge. I would skip this place, there are plenty of other restaurants in the area that are better.
