    Not Recommended

    Things I liked: They text you to let you know your table is ready so you can stroll around the area. That's it! Things I didn't like: The service. The nice thing was the owner/manager stop by to ask if all things were good but my waiter was not as attentive as waiters should be. It seem like he really didn't care! Things that are up in the air: The FOOD! (shaking my head) I can’t really say the food was terrible because it wasn’t. But how is it the only things I really really enjoyed were the chips for my crab roll and the mac and cheese (though I felt it needed a bit more seasoning) in a seafood restaurant?

    The worst ! The staff is the real let down. Our server was nasty. The attitude was unbelievable... wish I could remember her name. We had been waiting at our table for a welcome from our server for over 20 minutes. Finally my husband asked one of the table prep guys to please get our waitress and when she came over she had the biggest attitude as if she was doing us a favor of some sort... After taking our order she then went out of her way not to ask how we were doing as we waited another 40 mins. for our food, but she pampered everyone else she was serving. We are not the type to require a lot of attention, but it was obvious that some how we had offended her. We ordered the Brooklyn Crab Royal for Two, which is a heck of a lot of food so we didn't mind the 40 min wait, but when it finally come out it was cold! and the crab was dried out! Then we asked to speak with the manager and she came to the table with, yet again, an attitude and approached us with "what's the problem ?" not nicely like "how may I help you?" She was just RUDE, RUDE,RUDE ! She then touched the food, understood that it was cold and then took the food back for a re-fire. My husband and I just looked at each other in complete shock, because of the lack of customer service. We left our table, spoke to the manger again, who then was more congenial when she saw that we were going to walk out. She offered to refund the cost of our drinks (one lemonade, and a root beer) and to prepare our order for take out but we decided to leave. To be fair, we have been to the Brooklyn Crab once before and had a lovely time. We just had a really bad encounter this last visit, but we will not go back anytime soon, if at all. In addition, I lived in Maine for five years... I know what fresh seafood taste like and the seafood at Brooklyn Crab is not fresh, it's very much frozen!

    A good find

    I went down to the Fairway reopening, and I saw this place across the street. The place is kitschy inside - plastic fish and fishing poles, but the view is great. I sat at the bar and watched the boats in the harbor and the mayhem at Fairway. The bartender/server was really nice, and she recommended the crab cake benedict. It was delicious! I highly recommend it. I also had the crab bites, which were like crab cake meatballs. I probably didn't need to double order crab cakes, but they were really good. To top it off, I got a bloody mary with an oyster on top. It was freshly made and good, but I do like mine with a bit more horseradish. I'd definitely give it a try for dinner.

    Not recommended

    My boss always asks for bullets rather than a story. So here goes: - Poor service - rude, immature, childish staff - Unnecessary wait (while tables were empty) - Food tasted as if it were frozen - Left hungry. Made a beeline to IKEA and feasted on Swedish meatballs and a hot dog. Called it a day.

    Good View poor service

    It seems they are doing you a favor to let you eat there. High prices. Will not be back. Waited in front of an empty table for 20 minutes and when our name was called they wanted to give us that table!

    Not recommended

    I agree with the previous review. It "seems" good in theory, but the service and the disorganization kill what view or vibe this place COULD have to offer. The "manager" was rude, the waitresses seemed to have zero experience and everyone was running around like a chicken with its head cut off. Living in New England most of my life, the seafood seemed frozen, not fresh at all. and overpriced for what it was. The wait, is also definitely not worth it.

    Yum!

    My large group of 8 had a great experience here! We had 4 kids, 4 adults, and we we tried every kind of seafood under the sun. Everything was delicious. The kids had maybe even more fun than we did because our waitress went out of her way to joke with them and take them around the restaurant. Great atmosphere, food, and service.
