    Only ok

Sometimes you might get lucky with a yummy dessert. Other times I've gotten stale cookies. Oh I've gotten cakes there twice, both times it was poor.

    Great Italian Bakery

This is a great place to pick up extremely good Italian style bread and pastries. I have not had their brunch or sandwiches yet, but the desserts, coffees, and breads are phenomenal. Their ciabatta bread is spot on and their pignoli cookies, mousee, sfogliatelle etc are just a few of the amazing treats. All of the workers are very nice and helpful as well. They could afford to lower prices a bit, esp for smaller items like little desserts.

New Champ in Park Slope! AMAZING FOOD

The food here is amazing. The subs are to die for. I had a tuna blla sandwich one time I went in and a prosciutto sandwich the next. Both sandwiches are delicious. The balsamic sauce is rediculous. A must try in the neighborhood.

    MY FAVORITE~!

hands down the best sandwiches ever. i don't care for the bagels, but i don't go for bagels - it's a bakery and sandwich shop first and foremost! and the sandwiches are each under $10 and last two meals, so anyone who complains about the price is just absurd. i live a block away and i get down on Brooklyn Bread at least 1-2 times per week. everyone who i have ever taken there thanks me and says it is truly an amazing sandwich. ingredients are fresh. bread is crunchy and delicious. they LOAD the sandwiches. you can't go wrong. this is my favorite sandwich place EVER.

    don't bother

We were excited in the months when this place was under construction. We chatted with one of the owners on the street who told us this was a new venture for a Bay Ridge bakery. It sounded like we would be getting great morning bagels. What a collossal disappointment. We've tried it 2x and both times bagels were cold and nearly stale. Service was surly and prices trumped up - they seem to imagine that all Park Slopers are millionaires. They have not made adjustments to recognize the new realities of approaching slumdog-ness.
