Yummy
I dont know why everyone is so cranky about this place. I'm literally eating their Apple Chicken sandwich and its effing delicious and the guys who own it are hot as well... Makes the experience 10x more better. They are friendly and everything is fresh.

Excellent
After reading the below comments, I needed to write a review. Do these snooty people realize that this is just more or less a sandwich shop. For what it is this place is excellent. The food is always fresh and prepared with the finest ingredients. If there are four people ahead of you, of course your order is going to take 15 minutes. And if you don't see your sandwich sitting on the counter its your fault, this is Brooklyn people WAKE UP! Possible you can ask the owner to help eat your sandwich as well. All in all after eating at this establishment over 100 times, if you can wait 10 to 15 minutes for someone to prepare fresh food for you going to Brooklyn Bread is a no brainer. Enjoy people, I actually just called in an order so today will be a good day after all.

Service leaves something to be desired
BB's sandwiches are pretty good and tasty but they're expensive and I agree with the other reviewer that the service is really poor. They don't seem interested at all in being friendly and providing prompt service. I havent been back their in 6 months because of a bad experience with one of the counter girls who was just rude.

Good Sandwich - Poor Service
Well, I just had such a poor experience with the staff at the Carroll Gardens store, that I had to write a review. First, after calling in a pick up order, and then waiting 15 minutes, I showed up thinking that my sandwich might actually be a little cold from waiting too long. But instead, the order had never been placed. So, then I wait for them to make it. After sitting there for 15 more minutes - and watching customer after customer get their orders - I notice a sandwich sitting on the counter. It's been there for about 5 minutes, but I just assumed it was for somebody else. I ask, "Is that my sandwich?" and the girl behind the counter goes, "It's a number 16?" Yes. That was mine. I snatched it (Yes, snatched. I was pissed) from her hand and walked out. Then, I get home, and it's cold when I had asked for it to be toasted. So, it's in the oven now heating up, and I'm sitting here - 45 minutes after placing the order - waiting to eat.

Best Coffee!
Their sandwiches are good but their coffee is GREAT! Try their iced latte, you won't regret it. The baked goods I have tried there (sweets, bagels, cookies) I wasn't a huge fan of but not terrible.

Best they come fro all over to BBC
Best prepeared sandwiches. Relatives and friends come from New Jersey and SI- to sit and enjoy their great variety of sandwiches. If you go as early early or brunch or lunch- there are always busy. Its great to sit inside and look out or sit outside by their bench-eat or drink cafe.

Best Sandwichs in Cobble Hill
These guys make amazing sandwiches. Anything with prosciutto is incredible, chicken pesto is amazing, and their bread is perfect for the sandwiches. Their service is also amazing. One day they were short on staff, and the order was slightly delayed. They comped the entire order. Definitely a go to place for sandwiches, my only complaint is they close at 7, i eat diner late. Two thumbs way up for this much needed sandwich shop in Brooklyn.
