The food at Brooklyn Belly was great. I had the BELLYful seafood combo and everything tasted amazing. Another added bonus, everything is made fresh while you wait.

A review won't do Brooklyn Belly any justice because words can't describe how awesome it is, go try it for yourself everything is fresh and made to order, the customer service is the best I've ever experienced in any Brooklyn eatery. I'd recommend trying everything on the menu because yes it's that good. But if it's your first time grab a Jerk Chicken Po Boy, Fried Mac & Cheese, and a homemade Limeade

I had been enjoying this business. The boss was friendly and accommodating. But when I attempted to order a week ago, they had a very rude, ignorant and inexperienced person answering the phone. He could not deal with my questions about wheat (I'm celiac)--telling me "there was no wheat, the breading was flour." I explained to him that most flours in this country were made from wheat. He talked constantly while I was speaking--what was the point of this, I don't know. I asked to speak to the boss, but he would not let me. I never put in an order.

What I love most is the light-flaky batter around their shrimp. The whiting is always on point. The jerk sauce is awesomely spicy and delicious. I don't care much for shrimp cocktail sauce, but the authenticity of Belly's homemade cocktail sauce is to die for. They are always pleasant and patient. So glad they ditched the truck to hang around with us.

Food is tasty. Order was screwed up. We had three meal orders. We only got one and a half of the orders. Probably won't go back, sadly.

Fish PoBoy was excellent. The fish was crispy and flaky unlike the hard, chewy fried fish served in the chicken joints in most "hoods". The house coleslaw topping along with the sweet and perfectedly textured bread makes the best whiting sandwich in Brooklyn. Owner's real cool too!
