I was visiting my daughter who recently moved to Brooklyn. She had been here a few times and said it was her favorite. I absolutely loved it and will insist on going back whenever I visit.

I have been to Brooklyn Beet Company a few times and The service has always been great except for today. I came in here and the waiter is "angry" at least that's his demeanor! I'm afraid to ask a question. Each time we do he is curt and abrupt. We are obviously bothering him. When we asked about specials he said look at the menus! The food is always excellent and up till now so has the service. The only criticism I have overall part from today's service is they need a bartender. Waiters make cocktails and I've had to send cocktails back because they weren't made correctly. Also their fries are potatoes chips. Stick to regular fries and get a bartender.

After moving to Bay Ridge about 9 months ago, I noticed there were no farm to table restaurants in the area, one of the things I missed about northern Brooklyn, now that has changed! My boyfriend and I went to dinner last night and it exceeded our expectations!! The space itself is very pretty, with long wood tables, individual two tops with tree stump stools, and exposed brick walls, and a record player for the background music. We had the dumplings, duck spatzel, and the steak, all of which were delicious! All of the veggies were fresh, the meats tender, and the sauces married well with the dishes. Armando, our waiter was incredibly nice and accommodating. Highly recommend this place and can't wait to try the brunch!!
