    Great food, spotty sevice

Love the food here, particularly the brunch which is easily among the best in the area (the bloody mary is outstanding). But the service has ranged from slow (we've waited over a half hour for our food when the place wasn't all that crowded) to downright awful where we left before ordering. The wait staff seem clueless or just don't seem to care how long you wait and if you're not their table pretend you don't exist (Dinner time service has usually been better.)

    Delish!

This place is so very consistent and delicious everytime I have tried it. The panzanella salad and cacio e pepe are standouts for me. Great value too.

    Best atmosphere in neighborhood

I like to eat italian dishes and very accurate specials with a nice variety of wines. Not far to typical manhattan places!!! I love it!

    Amazing pastas from Rome!

Exactly as delicious as Trastevere in Rome!

Nice bar, pass on the food

Ate at the bar on a recent Wednesday night. I was happy to see they had fresh oysters on the menu -- but alas, when they arrived they were poorly shucked and full of pieces of shell. The bartender was was talky, which is fine, but he forgot to enter the entree; at that point I just left. The drink was well-made however. Overall, seems like they need to sharpen their act...not quite ready for primetime

    Lovely bar. Poor food.

I met a friend here for a glass of wine. The bartender was great. Attentive, helpful and made recommendations not on the wine list. We also ordered the Roman artichokes and grilled octopus apps. Artichokes were mushy and had not been well cleaned of choke. The octopus tasted fishy and was inedible. Our bartender noticed we weren't eating the octopus, asked what was wrong and immediately removed it from the table and our check. I'll come back for a drink but will never consider ordering from the menu again.

    Great pasta dishes

And the service has really improved since it opened. We love this place.
