Great breakfast!
Awesome breakfast, excellent service, and inexpensive. I indulge in the omelet with pastrami, mushrooms, onions, and cheese. Girlfriend had the banana pancakes. Both were excellent. Service was friendly and very attentive.

Great food, service and atmosphere!!!
Broadway Restaurant is truly one of the few remaining restaurants in NYC that offer great food, service and a unique atmosphere!! Breakfast was quick and great, lunch is always tasty and the prices are always fair!! In addition, the staff is warm and make your dining experience worthwhile. I just recently started going in for dinner and was amazed at what great dishes they prepare. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who lives on the West side!! Two thumbs up!! Way up!!

yummy burgers
We live on the upper west side and we love this joint for a burger with the kids. We have no need to go to the diner down the street and pay $35 for four burgers and two sides of fries. It is what it is there. I feel like no one should complain about anything when they go there, if you don't like it, don't go. Touch Wood, we've never had a bad burger from this joint.

a timepocket
Just returned from a schooltrip to USA (i`m from Denmark) we accidentially stopped by this place, and ended up eating breakfast here almost every morning. Scenes from Michael Clayton were also shot here. Do try their baconburger--100 times better than any fastfood-restaurant could have done it

greasy spoon
Just walk by and you will smell the grease. Went here for dinner recently salad, grilled cheeses, onion rings. The salad dressing was in a plastic squeeze bottle that was shared at other tables and it tasted like it had been sitting out all day. Yuck. They managed to screw up our order onion rings forgotten about and they weren't good onion rings once they arrived. You know the kind with the diced fine onion that you can buy in the freezer case at the grocery store? No thanks.

Fine
My all time fave uws spot for my meatloaf w/ no gravy on whole wheat toast with a side of onion rings. the o.r.'s aren't the best. kind of like mcdonal's if they had them. but their meatloaf sandwhich cannot be beat!! and 'lina' is a very 'interesting' server. they have old movie star posters. fine place.

Surprised!
I have lived in the neighborhood for 12 years and passed by this place all the time. I always wondered, since it looked so awful, why then, was it always crowded. One night, I decided to find out. I had a burger. It was great! In the late '90's, Brad Pitt filmed a scene from a movie there, and his signed photo is on the wall. So, if a location scout picked it for atmosphere, that should tell you how authentic it appears.
