watch dates on dairy case items
People are nice. Does not seem clean. Check those dates on milk and other perishables. They must buy the stuff on the cheap, close to expiration dates.

Watch the time
I've been here a number of times and consider this place the best of the hot and cold buffets in the area. At $6.25 per pound, it is slightly more expensive than most, but the selection and food quality makes the difference worth it. One important thing to note: after about 1:30 in the afternoon, they just let the buffet trays slide. Don't even think about it after 2. They don't.

my new spot
I tried this place for somewhere new to go today. I am very pleased with my food. I ordered a veggie burger delux wich is definitely home made and the french fries are the thin ones. My favorite!!! I also ordered a shake with strawberries, aloe and wheatgrass. Everything in the store was very fresh and the vegetables are very bright. The prices can't be beat. I paid 1.50 less than I was paying for a veggie burger down the street. I love it!!

Classiest Place in Tribeca
The Odeon is the best restaurant in Tribeca, and quite possibly one of the best restaurants downtown. It's also a landmark in the neigborhood as it was the pioneering business back in 1980. No regrets with The Odeon except that you'll wish you had been there sooner.

Best in the area
The food is typical of delis all over the city but this place is exceptionally clean, spacious, and well stocked. The employees are quick and very nice. The sandwiches are really good, sometimes with a little too much meat, but still good. The steam table food is a little boring and bland if I had one complaint.

Your standard deli with a steam table
I work a couple of doors away from this place and come in maybe twice a day for coffee and such, so I must like it. Family-run (I think). Good points: -They have a nice selection of self-service coffee and tea for those of us who hate Starbucks. -The sandwich guys are fast, accurate and pleasant. -The foods in the steam table and salad bar are varied and always seem to be of recent vintage. -The place is quite clean. -Open all night. Bad point: -I don't know if this is bad, exactly, but obviously, the food isn't that interesting (hence the title of this review).
