Why Would You?
Not a good choice. Why bother? You,ve read the reviews. Believe them. I don't understand how it stays in business.

Very attentive service
While in town for business, we walked past this restuarant several times before deciding to duck in. Wonderful service with very attentive waitstaff. The steaks were good. If you're expecting Ruth's Chris or Morton's you'll be disappointed. But if you're looking for a quiet restuarant with good food & good service at a reasonable price, Broadway Joe's is a good option for you.

Great place!
Broadway Joe's is and always will be the place my husband and I will have dinner to top off our theater experience. Whenever we have tix for a show, Broadway Joe's is always something we look forward to. Their food, service, ambiance, etc. are all quite enjoyable. I highly recommend Broadway Joe's!

Love Broadway Joe's!
I find it very discouraging that many people have not rated Broadway Joe's well. My husband and I have been there a few times. Each of those experiences were great. The service, food, atmosphere, etc. were thoroughly enjoyable. We have been to our share of restaurants throughout many of the boroughs. Broadway Joe's has always been our choice when we are in Manhattan, before/after seeing a show.

Not recommended
Walked in after a play (post theater). Place was empty except for one other table. Greeter asked if they could help us. Replied we'd like to eat. Greeter went to "see if it was ok". My wife ordered steak, received a slab of shoe leather. Why is this place still open?

just okay
The prix fixe was reasonably priced, the service prompt, but a little odd we had about 5 people bring or take our plates. Place is a little dated, maybe living in the past a little. Food delivered as promised, but pretty average. was not expensive.

Terrible Rude and Overpriced
I went here with my parents who booked reservations from a guidebook which has to be the only way this restaurant is still in business. The best I can say about the food is that it was mediocre. The prices were ridiculously high for the level of quality. The service was brusque and rude. Tables are packed extremely tightly. There are at least a dozen restaurants within a block that offer better food, kinder and more attentive service at more reasonable prices. Please do yourself a favor and choose one of those. You are guaranteed to have a more pleasurable New York experience.
