    Nice little lunch spot

This is a great place to grab a quick lunch. The food is good and it is very reasonably priced for the area. The service is quick. The atmosphere is lackluster but you would not coming here for that anyway.

    Great overall

This is a great place if you are looking for a quick breakfast before work or for a really good, and very reasonably priced lunch. The guys behind the counter are a riot, and they will go out of their way to make sure you leave happy. I work in the building and go down at least 3-4 days a week for both breakfast and lunch.

    Great little lunch spot

I work right above 401 Broadway Cafe. The food is very good; the guys behind the counter are always friendly and quick. Its not gourmet, but if you are going to a NY diner/deli like this, you shouldn't expect gourmet. But if you are looking for a tasty inexpensive lunch, this is a good spot.

    Best Deli Lower Manhattan

This place is simply awesome. Where else can you get quality food with great service. Any time I walk into a deli in the city, the guys behind the counter ALWAYS mess up my order. Here, my order is always correct, tasty and of great value. Where else in the city can you get a sandwich for $4.95? I know I can't think of too many other places and the gentlemen behind the counter know how to treat their customers well. I highly recommend you stop in and see for yourself!

    Hidden treasure

This little place should be, and soon will be extremely well known. While it doesn't seem like much, the food is some of the best diner food I've ever had in NYC, and the guys working inside are great. The delivery is very fast and they always have the orders right. Definitely suggest ordering business lunches from Bway Cafe.

It could be so much more

The first problem is the ham, no nyc diner should serve the type of low grade boiled ham that broadway cafe does. The second problem is the bacon, it is of the precooked variety that has unchewable bits of fat that prevent you from bitting through the sandwich. The guys behind the counter run around aimlessly while their boss barks out orders from the register. The short order cook seems to be competent and capable but for the fact that the ingredients seem to let him down. If I were you I would stick to the breakfast and stay away from the ham.

    Great Food, Cheap prices

This place has some of the best diner food I have had in Manhattan. The sandwiches are big and you can tell the meat is of awesome quality. The delivery is very fast they never mess up an order. The service inside is also really good. The best part of this place is that you feel like you should be paying more for such good food in Manhattan. Also, the owners are very friendly and love to make you smile.
