Just gotta hop in here and say this place dominates! The beef brisket is better than Fette Sau. The pulled pork is perfectly flavorful too. And what really seals the deal is the hot sausage link. So much smoke.. so much smoke!! It's a real feast for the senses. Oh, and the pickle slices are awesome too. I go here for pickup a lot, because they package the food very well to take home; it won't lose flavor in transit. Then I can store the leftovers and reheat them over the next few days (must be done verrrry slowly, like 20-30 min at 200 degrees), I still get almost all the flavor and juice. Their really polite when eating in the restaurant too. My one beef with it (hehe) is that they don't have a great drink selection, by which i mean, they don't have beer on tap. Beware, this is a Texas bbq joint: no bbq sauce anywhere; the flavor is all packed in the meats and their rubs (and the pickles and onions). Also, DO NOT bring vegetarians here; the mac and cheese is real good, but I don't think there's any substantive meal choices for vegetarians. Instead, if you wanna try some of very best meat in NYC, come here and bring an empty tummy!!!

Oh how disappointing! Their selections are limited . No ice ? 1 pound of meat per person? Are we returning to cave men? Was surprised we even had utensils! Nevertheless the brisket was tasty as the collard greens. Eating off the brown construction paper was not good! I won't be going back yet it was an experience .
