    Unbelievably overpriced

2 large pizzas, one with 3 toppings - $55 after tip. Unreal, felt incredibly ripped off... that's all I can say about this place.

    not fresh

ordered pizza for delivery and it was obvious that they had put new cheese on top of old cheese pizza. If it had been a new freshly made pizza the taste would have been lovely

    Great Pizza

I have nothing but praises for that establishment. Every time I go there, I know exactly what I am going to order. I am a routine type person and since the atmostphere is a little busy but friendly, it fits.

"Loyal Owner" calls himself "Mayor", ogles women

Not only is the service horrific and the dudes working there extremely condescending toward any request, but the guy an earlier reviewer called the "loyal owner" is actually a serious hard-on who--referring to himself as "The Mayor of 23rd Street"--stands outside constantly ogling females, and recently hassled my own girlfriend over a to-go 'cup' of parmesan cheese which he had the never to demand a dollar for! When I first moved to the neighbornood, I ate here fairly often out of convenience, and found that generous tips tended to improve the mexicans' moods. That was until the night I made the mistake of tipping the "loyal owner" himself who not only refused the gratuity but pushed it at me and declared "I don't need your money - I own this place!" I'll never go there again. Middle of the road pizza. Expensive and a lot of a-holes.

How is this place still in business?

If you like stale pizza, you'll love Brick Oven 33. I guess you pay $4 for their special recipe for a 2-day old slice.

very expensive for what you get

Used to order from here a lot and the price wasnt too bad...but lately everytime I get anything from them the price is much much higher and it doesnt even match the prices on the menu! I will admit they make good pizza but the prices they charge are out of hand sometimes...paid almost 20 dollars for a medium pie!! WOW

    Sooo expensive

So expensive and not even that good. We ordered a plain largie pie with half peppers and onions....$25!! I know I live in New York but God! They charged us the full price for toppings on half the pizza. I could have bought a whole pepper and onion for the $5 they charge for 2 toppings plus the crust had no flavor and is the consistency of cardboard. Used to be good. No more.
