No reason to order from here
Ok so there are other Pizza 33's in the city which are great well this location is not part of this... The service is given with an attitude... The food is sub-par and its way too expensive for what it is. I highly recommend you order from somewhere else in the neighborhood! If you are looking for the classic NY slice go with Gotham Pizza... or if you are looking for the Brick Oven style go with Ovest. If you want a crappy attitude and an undercooked pizza delivered in twice the time they say then call up these guys!

Brick Oven
There are literally tons and tons of pizza establishments in New York City. If one does not suit you, just walk a half block to another pizza joint. What attracted me was the name. "Brick Oven" had me thinking the food was cooked in a brick oven. Woops. Looks like the "mayor" replaced the oven and forgot to change the name to "Stainless Oven 33." More over he counted the street number 10 streets too high. Nothing special about it. $2.75 for a plain slice. Only gripe is the false advertisement. Plenty of other places.

Great thin crust pizza
This place has really good thin crust pizza with really fresh ingredients. The pizzas are not cheap, but you really get what you pay for. They use fresh crushed tomatoes and real mozzarella as well as high quality toppings. I have ordered from them a number of times and always been very happy. The restaurant is nothing special, but good to sit and grab a slice.

Unbelievably overpriced
2 large pizzas, one with 3 toppings - $55 after tip. Unreal, felt incredibly ripped off... that's all I can say about this place.

not fresh
ordered pizza for delivery and it was obvious that they had put new cheese on top of old cheese pizza. If it had been a new freshly made pizza the taste would have been lovely

Great Pizza
I have nothing but praises for that establishment. Every time I go there, I know exactly what I am going to order. I am a routine type person and since the atmostphere is a little busy but friendly, it fits.

"Loyal Owner" calls himself "Mayor", ogles women
Not only is the service horrific and the dudes working there extremely condescending toward any request, but the guy an earlier reviewer called the "loyal owner" is actually a serious hard-on who--referring to himself as "The Mayor of 23rd Street"--stands outside constantly ogling females, and recently hassled my own girlfriend over a to-go 'cup' of parmesan cheese which he had the never to demand a dollar for! When I first moved to the neighbornood, I ate here fairly often out of convenience, and found that generous tips tended to improve the mexicans' moods. That was until the night I made the mistake of tipping the "loyal owner" himself who not only refused the gratuity but pushed it at me and declared "I don't need your money - I own this place!" I'll never go there again. Middle of the road pizza. Expensive and a lot of a-holes.
