Brick Oven Pizza 23

The service is great, the margherita pizzas are great but when it comes to ordering any of their rolls, they aren't heated up enough and you normally get them pretty cold. They should also try warming up the sauce they give you and perhaps give you a little extra sauce. The location between 7th and 6th is better.

Delicious pizza. Super-fresh ingredients. Loyal owner who takes good care of his regular customers. What else is there to say? This place is the epitome of the neighborhood pizza joint. I've never had any takeout problems like those reported, but I've only ordered a few times. One downside is that you get some real drunk boneheads in there on weekends, but I suppose that's unavoidable.

I have eaten at Brick Oven Pizza 33 many times and it is always very good. Tonight I ordered a pizza because I had some friends in from out of town. The pizza arrived and it was as thin as a tortilla, cold and barely cooked. I was ashamed and my friends could not belive how poor the pizza was. The wierd thing is every time I've eaten at their restaurant the food was very tasty.

The food is great. The people that are serving it need a few lessons in customer service. Try to order a delivery... I hope you enjoy being treated rudely after sitting on hold and then receiving luke warm food.

Very pleased with the experience. Pizza was good -- a little soggy, but still really tasty. They had it here 15 minutes after I called. Totally recommend.

By the slice seems the only way to go... I ordered a large pie the other night and was first shocked by the price then turned off by the taste. The pie was not even remotely close to what you get by the slice. I hate to say this because I like the place.

We ordered from here the other night. They've always been decent, but this time took an hour and ten minutes to deliver about three blocks away, brought the wrong pie (medium not large), and it was cold and almost inedible. It didn't even taste like their normal pizza. I've never had this happen before, but I'd be very wary of ordering from them again.
