You Get What You Pay For

OK. Call me a snob, but you do GET what you PAY for in this world, especially when it comes to food most of the time. The places on 6th street are sub par. Thought we would give this place a try. Mediocre at best. The shrimp are extremely small (SHRIMP!!) Chicken is not that good either. We wont be back, however the staff was very pleasant.

1 hour 20 mins for delivery

Keep in mind that if you order from here, food never arrives before an hour and that the naan comes soggy and cold. See you later Brick Lane.

    Yum

greatest indian food on indian row, hands down. yes, a bit pricey, but totally worth it. i'd rather pay a few extra bucks for a meal i truly enjoy than save a few bucks and have a mediocre meal. paneer tikka masala is FANTASTIC.

    Popularity has damaged Brick Lane

Brick Lane was recommended to me highly several years ago, and I've been a regular visitor. I loved the food, and the service was excellent. But it has become a sort of "hot spot," with a bustling bar scene, etc., and the quality has suffered. The last time I was there, they really rushed us -- didn't even offer us dessert. And the food was not as good. I used to love their Balti, but it was not good on the last visit. I never minded the higher prices there, but with the quality and service deteriorating, I will explore the other venues on the block.

Do they realize they charge twice as much as some places on 6th Street?

Food was fine, a good bit spicier than their counterparts (which is great), but honestly, it isn't twice as good as other E. 6th St places, so why the incredibly steep prices? Skip it.

    Really?

Honestly, this place is overpriced and didn't impress me. It's sort of astounding that they charge what they do for what they give you - inexcusable, really. I would not recommend.

    2 Hours for Delivery

This place took over two hours to deliver my food. After an hour of waiting I called and was told that my food was already on its way. An hour later I was still without my delivery. When the food finally came it was as cold as can be and everything was burnt The Chicken Tikka Masala had no flavor and 5 small piece of chicken.
