Excellent food, but overpriced
Absolutely outstanding food. I've tried several dishes (all take out) and they are exquisite. But, the prices are really high relative to what you get and comparatives. The fact that I keep going back shows I'm prepared to overlook it myself, but others may not. Though they did put a free dessert in my bag when I ordered over the holidays - they earned at least a couple of repeat visits for that.

Please, New Yorkers, Avoid and Learn
I was excited to learn another curry joint would come to the area, but New Yorkers, darlings, this isnt good. The dishes were swimming in tomato sauce and grease, and just because you add enough chillies to kill all bodily sensations doesnt mean you can cook.

Fantastic food!!
I've been to the Bricklane Curry House downtown and found their food to be fantastic, so when I was told that they had opened up in midtown, I jumped at the chance to get some! While the actual location is not a dining establishment, but more of a delivery service, I was a bit disappointed. Until, i tasted the food! Amazing is all I can say. The flavors are exquisite, and the choices are plentiful. I decided to see if they do have a sit down feature since I had company in town, and they said sure. We even brought our own beers and had an amazing time. The owners are great and the service was unmatched. And again...THE FOOD!! Five stars, best in NYC.

Best british curry in NY
Try finding a real british tasting curry in NY - You all know the brits have the best curries... this is by far one of the best curry houses in NY... great lunch/brunch menu and a fab deal - we order in bulk at lunch times all the way down in wall street! Service is very personal and accomadating. locaton in 6th street area, not like the rest in that area, great food, restaurant has a nice local ambiance, not high end but a nice comfortable atmosphere.
