Great hidden treasure of NYC.
It's a small place with a cozy environment, great delicious Indian food, and professional genuine service. The place didn't have an alcohol license when we visited it in October of 2009, however, they allowed us to bring our own wine/beer. Great deal for the price!

Solid place to eat Indian food.
Food is reasonably priced and good for groups. Each dish is enough to feed about 2 people. Mulligatawny soup is a bit bland. The service was great. We had reservations and were seated about 20 min after the fact, but the great service made up for our wait.

Ouch
Not nice food. Greasy. So hot it hurts. I asked for mild. Wasn't. Nothing subtle here. Won't be back.

what a great little place! i dont eat indian food often because i thought i didnt like it, but this place is great. The food was delicious. its a small area, with one big table, but its a fun way to dine in my opinion. go for the take-out or try eating there, you will enjoy it!

A Must for Indian Delivery!!!
I haven't been awed by any indian restaurants in the area but Bricklane was wonderful. They were extremely fast, the food was tasty, and the portions large. It isn't overpriced, I loved every minute of it! IF looking for an indian delivery in the area, this is the one!

Excellent food, but overpriced
Absolutely outstanding food. I've tried several dishes (all take out) and they are exquisite. But, the prices are really high relative to what you get and comparatives. The fact that I keep going back shows I'm prepared to overlook it myself, but others may not. Though they did put a free dessert in my bag when I ordered over the holidays - they earned at least a couple of repeat visits for that.

Please, New Yorkers, Avoid and Learn
I was excited to learn another curry joint would come to the area, but New Yorkers, darlings, this isnt good. The dishes were swimming in tomato sauce and grease, and just because you add enough chillies to kill all bodily sensations doesnt mean you can cook.
