What a disappointment! My husband and I were so excitied when we heard about a chef opening up a burger place. The hamburger was small, and the bun could have been from Mc Donald's. The onion strings were so greasy, we couldn't eat them. NY burger on 6th Avenue and 22nd has them beat- they are cheaper, their buns are brioche, and the burgers are much bigger! Although brgr has a more attractive atmosphere, Ny burger is a much bigger bang for your buck. I hope brgr reads this!

I can only hope that management reads this. I felt that the food at brgr was good. The price, however, even by New York standards, was ridiculous. $8 for a simple cheeseburger simply is not worth the value. Not in that place. Not in that neighborhood. And that's without fries or a drink. Please take heed. I like brgr and would go back if adjustments were made. Offer a combo meal for $8 including fries and a drink. Offer anything. Be creative. Think outside the box.

This place was everything I was hoping for and more. The atmostphere is perfect for a little hamburger joint in the city and the burgers (and all ingredients) are all farm-raised, some of them even locally. My roommate and I were both shocked at the price for what you get. Oh! And the fries! Choose between sweet potato fries and regular- they are both to-die-for. And the cookies are homemade, served hot with the chocolate melting in them. SOoooo good. If you are craving a hamburger with fries and a great shake, this is definetely the place to go!!

Admittedly this place has a flashy building. But that's where the good things stop. Food? Overpriced, small quantity and downright unappetizing. Slow service. Just not worth $14 for a burger.

... but I didn't get it! The burger was, at best, mediocre, especially for the amount I spent; $11 on a bacon cheddar cheeseburger. I suppose the roll was all right, but the Vermont cheddar cheese was bland (!), as was the burger (!!). The bacon? Meh. I wanted hickory smoke-y goodness and got something that tasted like what I could buy at Gristede's. There was simply nothing spectacular or out of the ordinary about my meal. I've had so much better for a lot cheaper. And while I waited for my to-go order, I found the plastic-steel seating uncomfortable. Much in their favor, however, I will say that the staff was friendly and accommodating, and the service was swift. Just fix the burger! It shouldn't resemble Mickey D's fare in the least!

I was so excited for this place to open. The staff is extremely friendly and unfortunately that is were it ends. $24 for 2 burgers, two fries and a coke is insane when both people left still hungry. It is not as good as shake shack and their are plenty of bars/pubs in the area that make burgers that are just as good, a lot bigger, and less expensive.

I think they spent all thier energy on the graphics! Portions are ridiculously small for the price, service is astoundingly slow. Food is just ok.
