I eat here often ... and love the food! The young man preparing the food did a great job and was helpful ..as sometimes i am lost on what to order However was really upset when i went to pay at the counter the manager? The older man was busy on the internet doing his personal things and had me wait over 5 mins...by the time i was done paying my food was cold!

Made to order? Maybe put together to order, but my falafel were definitely fried hours before I got there. Hot sauce tastes like sriracha hot sauce (which I LOVE..who doesn't?), but seemed a little out of place for a falafel. Pita was chewy and could have used a couple seconds in an oven. Overall, not that good but still better than most "falafel" they sell down here.

I order delivery from here at least twice a week. They never let me down. Everything is fresh and delicious. The falafel is cooked perfectly, crunchy but not too greasy. I highly recommend the combo platter as well. I have traveled extensively in the middle east and must say this is just as good if not better than anything I have had there.

Bread & Olive is a couple blocks from my office and we often walk over for lunch. Although the place is small, the food has great flavor and it is relatively inexpensive for what you get. All the vegetarian salads are very fresh and excellent. The falafel is also made fresh, is not greasy and has good flavor. There should be more spots like this around the city.

If you like falafel, this place has a great one. It's freshly made to order and is perfect--flavorful without being oily. The turnips they add to the sandwich add a mild flavor and a great crunch. The hot sauce is tasty but doesn't burn your tongue. And, the manager is great, often giving out free baklava to regulars. The place itself is small and simple, so perfect for a workday lunch.

I find myself going here more frequently that any other lunch location in the northern Financial section. Outstanding Chicken Shawarma (as they say), wonderful vegetarian dishes, Kufta is great. I'm an Alfanoose fan, but I come here for value, taste and quality about four times as much. Very pleasant staff! Great food (especially for the price). Solid!

The Lentil Soup is to die for! very filling and very tasty. The service was good, and the employee was very accomodating.
