Great Salads but Poor Service
I'm a big salad eater and Bread & Co definitely has the best salads within a 5 block radius of my office. So I go to B&C 4-5 times per week and every day I order the exact same saled: almonds, cranberries, avocados, sesame chicken, portobello mushrooms and one scoop of balsamic vinaigrette. I then go through hell to get the salad. I am regularly yelled at "what next, what next" even before I've even finished saying an ingredient. It's abrasive and uncomfortable and a consistent experience. At least one a week I get two scoops of dressing despite asking for one eith no apology. The price changes every day and when I point that out they become angry and hostile. The cost of a salad is 7.95 plus 1.50 for the portobellos. The usual price they try to charge is 9.95. I have repeatedly pointed out the error but the salad maker himself just can't handle the math and is offended by being corrected. The check out servers are much more understanding and they correct the price (or they come close at 9.5) but every single day it is the same hassle. So I begrudingly go back to B&C every day because the salad is truly delicious but if I had an equal alternative they would lose my business forever.

Great Place For Catering
Our company is expanding, so we were blessed enough to move to a office space in the heart of Midtown. For our first day in the new space we decided to treat our 60 employees with breakfast. I searched on Menupages for a restaurant in our new neighborhood and found a place...:"Bread & Company"... that had decent prices and good ratings. I called and spoke to a delightful young lady, Mashanna Bailey, The Catering Sales Manager at this establishment. She was kind and ver helpful. Everything from that point was out of my hands and it went off without a hitch. They were timely and the presentation was wonderful. The guys even helped setup our conference room. I will use them again for our meeting and even just for a lunch on the go.

Mystery Food...
The food is quite good, mainly due to the fact that they make their own bread. Places that make homemade bread always has a place in my heart. While it's very cute on the inside of the restaurant there are very few tables so take-out or delivery is the most common way of eating there. As a result I've done delivery countless times, and EVERY time I order out they mess it up somehow. One time they put meat on a vegetarian sandwich, another time they sent spoiled cheese in a salad, and this past time they send to wrong salad all together. While usaully they attempt to fix their mistakes, today, despite 3 phone calls on my behalf, they didn't send the correct salad, and when asked for my money back I was denied. The man was rude and didn't even try to fix the problem. Should you like mystery surprises order away because most likely you're not going to get what you asked for.
