made our nyc visit memorable
we stumbled upon brazil brazil on jan 19 after seeing spamalot during our nyc holiday. the minute we walked in we were greeted by such hospitality. Laura, the bartender/server, made us feel right at home. The place is so warm, pretty, comfortable, it is hard to visually describe just how nice it is. the lighting is perfect, the tables are all set so nicely, the room when you first walk in has an elegant look, with an appealing bar to the right, romantic setting tables to the left next to the gaslit fireplace. the tv screen is playing brazilian artists and the atmosphere is welcoming and upbeat. The caipirinhas were perfectly made, even the maracuja ones. Their signature shot/drink was yummy and so smooth. We were celebrating my wife's birthday and we could have stayed all night at this place we had a hard time leaving. The staff were all friendly, professional, accomodating and particularly Laura "Laurinha" had the best disposition, personality anyone could ever hope for. She treats you like family, always there, attentive, not intrusive, very social and a true professional. We loved the atmosphere, the food, the company, the stting, the warmth. It was a true find that we were very lucky to walk into. I would recommend to anyone who likes good food, atmosphere and all around top notch service. As soon as you walk in you feel like it could be any lovely place in the world, Brasil, Portugal, fancy uptown establishment, chic downtown or really anywhere. So classy, fun, welcoming and the food stood up to the rest of it's marks. I hope they never change and just continue to prosper so we can find them again on our next trip to NYC. We already miss the place and our time there. Thank you for making it so special. Obrigado Laurinha!

Very Good! Nice prices & service.
Great food. Music, drink specials at the bar. Friendly service what more can you want? A great value in midtown Manhattan. Enjoy.

Exellent!!
We went here after theatre when we were in ny last year. The best place we ate all of our trip - went twice actually - stopped for drinks and decided after the great service and atmosphere to hit it again for supper the next nite - It gets 5 out of 5 for service and food. WOW! Thanks for the memories - we are coming back in March 2008 see ya there!!

terrific
we just love this restaurant! cant get enough. after walking up and down 46th trying to find the perfect brazilian restaurant we found Brazil Brazil. the service cant get any more welcoming, the caipirinha cant get better. go on a friday night and enjoy a live acustic performance by the bar before dinner. the food, delicious. try the churrasco mixto and enjoy a variety which includes chicken, chorizo, pork and steak cooked to perfection, dont leave out the side of fried bananas (yes you read right) they are sooooo good.

A brazilian festival
We checked out Brazil Brazil for dinner on Sep 1, 2007 to celebrate my birthday. The menu outside looked interesting and a bargain in NYC for a pre fix around $25.00 pp. The ambience inside was clean and low-lite; The food was some tasty meats like top sirloin, pork, chicken, Everything was seasoned well and cooked through. The first course was nice with salads or black beans soup. The desserts was great, with sweet and sauer passion fruit mouse. The wine was good and poured plentifully into glasses. Overall a relaxed, urban experience. Pros: tasty food, nice waiters, good wine list Cons: I had to come back home

Fantastic!!
As a brasilian, I would've never guessed i was in New York City at a Brasilian resturante! I felt as if i was in Sao Paolo again, with great service and very nice waitresses. The food was quick and excellent with such good taste. The waitress was very polite and clean.

Nice meal for reasonable price
My wife and I were served personally by the manager Antonio and he provided excellent service. The stroganoff was very tasty and our water galsses were always full. My wife had never eaten brazillian food so this was a good introduction. Thanks for a nice evening.
