Took my boyfriend who happens to be Brazilian here for his bday. Made reservations just in case but they weren't totally necessary. We arrived at about 6 o'clock to a nearly empty restaurant. The decor was beautiful and gave a very cozy atmosphere. The artwork and the ambient lighting makes you feel as if you have stepped out of busy Manhattan and into a little slice of Brazil. We ordered an appetizer, a salad, two steaks and a side,totaling about 85 bucks. Food was amazing, they really know what they're doing. The waiters were very on point, very considerate and very welcoming. Really not a single negative comment and I would have no hesitation recommending this to a friend.

My girlfriend and I walked in early around 5ish and were greeted by several eager staff who were all smiles and ready to start the dinner rush. Our waiter was very friendly and sweet throughout our whole experience and our glasses were never empty. We both ordered from the pre-fixe menu and also ordered a pitcher of red sangria. The food was delicious, the sangria was magnificent and the staff were perfect. The three course steak dinners which were cooked to perfection and served with rice and black beans cost under 50 dollars, the sangria gave us each about 3 and a half full glasses of wine for 29.99 the dinner totaled under $100.00 and everything was excellent. We will definitely be coming back next time we see a show!

I selected Brazil Brazil for its proximity to the theater district as our dinner destination. The decor of the restaurant was very nice bright and tasteful. The waiter was obviously new and had limited command of English. This really was not much of a problem because his demeanor was apologetic and he truly was trying hard to please us. We were served no bread and had to ask for it as well as a steak knife for the dinner steaks. The meal was delicious and made to order. Our water glasses were never empty and the wait staff was very attentive. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant only if you were going to a show. Otherwise, there is just as good Brazilian fare to be had in Manhattan at a better price. Unfortunately, the location dictates the price.

Nice place with plenty of seating. Lots of outdoor seating for nice weather! The food was excellent. I'd definitely recommend the beef strogonoff.

My wife & I visit New York once a year for a show and a meal. Previously underimpressed with either service, food or price, we finally hit upon Brazil, Brazil. Excellent service, food and price. The wait staff could not do enough to please us. Prompt and courteous.The pre-fix menu was great & the sizzling steak with homemade salsa was incredible. My wife had the talapia and she raved about it. This is the place we will go to anytime we are in NYC

We went here after theatre when we were in ny last year. The best place we ate all of our trip - went twice actually - stopped for drinks and decided after the great service and atmosphere to hit it again for supper the next nite - It gets 5 out of 5 for service and food. WOW!!! Thanks for the memories - we are coming back in March 2008 see ya there!!

After walking down restaurant row we we chose Brazil Brazil . What an exellent choice . The atomosphere was clean an beautiful. The service , we were waited on hand and foot . What a terrific wait staff and the food , fresh ,cooked to perfection and tuns of it. We live in Upstate New York and will be back to Brazil Brazil Again &Again.
