cheap with portions!
I've always loved this restaurant & always go back for their feijoadas. I've been there about 5 times but this might be my last. Went there with my husband and another couple, I knew I wad getting the feijoadas & everyone decided to get the same meal. I was excited & always bragged about this meal. When our good came, the portions was ridiculous. None of us got a whole portion of the meat, it looks like a left over & just sportioned the meats amongst us four. I just got Tid bits of the meat not even a tablespoon worth& the rest was just the beans. Really for $22 a plate this is what we get?! I can buy a few lbs of pork for $88. Never again....

Authentic Brazillian Menu
Good food, friendly service, nice wine list. The food was authentically prepared, portions were generous, prices were what you would expect to pay. The atmosphere was warm and comfortable too!

Unpleasant experience
My husband & I dined here on a whim. We were walking around, looking for a place to enjoy our 1st anniversary dinner & were recruited by the host, who was outside trying to encourage people to come in. Not uncommon, but it looked charming & my husband loves Brazilian food, we decided to give it a try. Our server came up immediately to ask if we wanted water, which we did. He brought it quickly & asked if we were ready to order. As we'd been sitting only 1-2 minutes, we had no time to review the menu. He said ok & walked away w/o asking for a drink order. He came back 2-3 minutes later & asked if we were ready again. We're trying to enjoy a night out--why was he rushing us? We felt like he was trying to turn the table before we'd even eaten. We said we needed a couple minutes, & as he turned to go we had to stop him so we could place a drink order, which the bus boy brought 10 minutes later. Within minutes another person came to take our order. After 30 minutes of empty drinks & water (& no server) a bus boy brought our entrees. My salad was forgotten. I told him to cancel it. We started our food, only to find it completely mediocre. The palm heart ravioli were bland. My husband"s medium rare tuna steak was a very dry well done. Since he only had a sandwich all day, he just ate it. At this point, we haven't seen our server since the 2nd time he came to take our order 40 min. earlier & had nothing to drink for a while. Oddly, the tables around us seemed tended to. Finally, he sidles up to our table. "Everything is good?" And then starts to walk away! We stopped him & ordered another round. When that round hadn't appeared 10 min. later, I went to the host & asked for a manager, explaining some of what transpired. Another server came over & tried to make excuses about them being busy, but if that's the case, why is your host recruiting more business off the street? Plus, I doubt that's the 1st time the place had been busy on a Saturday night! She bought us a round & took 10% off the bill. While we were speaking, the surly server magically appeared with our drinks. Shortly after, the actual manager came up & we told her it was fine & we had spoken to someone already. Later a 3rd person, the guy who had taken our order, came up & apologized about the salad. Still, after all that, our waters went unfilled, my 2nd drink (Bailey's & coffee) was never topped off with more coffee, and we still only saw our server when we flagged him down for the bill.
