You can sit outside on a summer night with your friend(s) and order dinner or sit at the bar and order tapas or steak with fejoa and rice or some other Brazilian food from the very reasonable bar menu, drink great caipirinas, listen to live Brazilian music with singers almost every night. What more do you want? This is a unique, friendly place in Manhatten.

Ok...so I take a hot in a hurry with a friend.....was I surprised!....A wonderful menu.....great Tapas and 1/2 entree portions served at the bar....and a TASTY sangria to boot!.....Servers emotionally connected to their food. This is a must on 46th......great food, value, and service....Good use of original spices and flavors....

I had a churrasco de picanha and it was delicious. Meat was excellent and the Mandica frito were very smooth and probably the best I have ever had. My wife's stroganoff was also very tasty and the meat was of good quality and carefully prepared. Rice&beans were like they have to be in a good Brazilian Restaurant. Service was friendly, unfortunately we waited quite a long time to get the bill at the end.

The food ranges from mediocre & bland to outright unappetizing. But the food wasn't what made this experience SO apallingly bad. It was the service. The unbelievably rude & non-existant service. The server practically huffed & rolled his eyes when we weren't ready to order within 5 minutes of arriving, and then after we DID order we never saw him again. He even messed up our order! You'd think management would be responsive to something like that. But you'd be wrong. I can't even believe anyone has ever given this place more than one star. In fact, I wish I could choose negative stars. It was hands-down the poorest service and food in any restaurant I've ever been to, and that's saying something since I eat out 2-4 times per week. I've had better food and service in a roadside diner or dive bar.

I've always loved this restaurant & always go back for their feijoadas. I've been there about 5 times but this might be my last. Went there with my husband and another couple, I knew I wad getting the feijoadas & everyone decided to get the same meal. I was excited & always bragged about this meal. When our good came, the portions was ridiculous. None of us got a whole portion of the meat, it looks like a left over & just sportioned the meats amongst us four. I just got Tid bits of the meat not even a tablespoon worth& the rest was just the beans. Really for $22 a plate this is what we get?! I can buy a few lbs of pork for $88. Never again....

Good food, friendly service, nice wine list. The food was authentically prepared, portions were generous, prices were what you would expect to pay. The atmosphere was warm and comfortable too!
