loved the food and the value was great. we tried the tom yum soup which was spicy but if you can handle it you'll love it. we had the mussels appetizer which was really tasty. for our entree we had the soft crab, shrimp and catfish with coconut and special sauce which was very good too. the only thing i didn't like was the atmosphere. the music seemed like it was coming from a boombox and the place looked like a tiny apartment/office space that was repainted and trying to look like a decent restaurant. overall i very highly recommend the food if you don't mind the atmosphere.

This place has a good food. We had Tom Yum soup. It was sour and spicy (usual) hidden sweetness made this soup exceptionally good. Then, we had fried calamari. It was good but I like Angle Thai on Grand St. Green papaya and pat thai were good as any other place. I might like the one from near here Mo-Ra-Kote on Carmine St. The main we had sirloin steak with green curry. Something was missing on that dish. I didn’t taste much of green curry. I thought beef need something for my taste. Roasted duck with pineapple curry were excellent. Thick sauce of curry were laid over beautifully decorated plate with cherry tomato carving as flower and cucumber were thin sliced to make a shape of stem and leaves. The ducks were tasty. I will definitely go back and try their excellent offer of lunch and early bird specials!

I got delivery first and was good. Next day, I wanted to check it out the restaurant so I went to see and order take out. Place was small like everyone says but the energy that I got was very kind and warm. The entire store front was open. Fall breeze was coming in. Trees lined street full of red and yellow leaves were framed as if I was watching a painting. I thought delivery was already reasonable but if you come and eat there, it is $1 cheaper on lunch special ($5.95???). The portion was very reasonable. Dishes were on white big plate. I will definitely go back and enjoy watching changes of season and have a good food for less.

I usually order take out from this place and I love it. The grilled sticky rice is incredible as is the beef salad. Juicy and as spicy as you want it. The soups are great and its allso cheap. Fantastic place, I highly recommend it

This place is verrry small. Not for claustrophobic people. Its cute though and has nice decor. You get a good price for lunch. My husband complained though that there wasnt enough beef in his beef stir fry. Other than that the food was tasty.

In fact, i signed on just to rebut the previous commenter! :) I go here / take out at least once a week and can really only vouch for their pad thai & massaman curry. I go around the city eating pad thai everywhere and like this one a lot(although it's nothing out of the blue extraordinary). their massaman curry is quite yum too. the lunch specials are a steal at $6+ for entree, salad and spring roll. service is great, quick, and accomodating and the staff is super nice. the space is warm, inviting, intimate, but a tiny place. it's always booked full! stay away from the green tea creme brulee - worth trying once, but the toxic green color was a bit scary (although amusing) and it was too sweet for me.

I tried this restaurant because of the mostly favorable reviews on this site. First, the good news: Service was prompt and courteous. The place was clean (by New York standards). The coconut milk/lemongrass soup that came with dinner was outstanding. The red curry with chicken was acceptable (although I have had better). The Macau beer was an outstanding value at $3.25. Then we had the pad-thai with pork, and things started to go downhill from there. First impression from the pad-thai was slightly unpleasant. So, generally I was pleased with food, however one unpleasant dish can ruin your whole dining experience. So many restaurants offer a few good items but they lack evenness and quality control. This is the case here.
