Decent food, poor customer service.
Ordered 3 times. 1st time, the food came (delivered) with peanuts when I asked for no peanuts. 2nd time a couple weeks later, I order delivery again - food with no peanuts, but again it arrives with peanuts. I call today and (politely) stress no peanuts please that i'm allergic and that the last 2 orders I made came with. Person over the phone argues with me first that the dish doesnt come with peanuts, then stressed how impossible it was because they have redundant checks to avoid this - the chef, then the person who packs the food and then the final kiss off: i must've ordered from another restaurant the other 2 times - lol. Fortunately todays order came as I ordered it, but after that experience I'm gonna hafta speak with my dollar and never order from them again. Mistakes I can deal with. Poor customer service? No way.

Best Papya Salad and Pad Thai in NYC
We stumbled on Boyd Thai on our way to hear Dr. John at Le Poisson Rouge - and we were so glad we did. The special mussels appetizer, papaya salad and Pad Thai were fantastic - the latter two the best I've had Stateside. My husband's curry wasn't as good - tasted like Tom Yum Soup with coconut milk and overcooked catfish stirred in. Even so, we'll go back.

Salty food
I agree with most of the people here that the food at this place is actually good plus the prices are low. But one problem is that they are often quite salty. During my last few visits, I have specifically asked the waiter or waitress to prepare my dish with "LESS SALT." They all got my words but the food has been exactly the same, if not saltier. Amazing. I don't think I will go there again. You guys enjoy their generous salt.

Licked the plate
I live down the street and finally popped in here. Friend and I order a bottle of wine, she got the sauteed veggies in sweet & sour sauce and I got the chilean seabass. No joke, we both considered licking the plate but we were too full. Amazing food. Waiter was incredibly attentive - kept the water/wine glasses full. And it was a surprisingly low bill. I will be back. A lot.

Tom Yum Soup
This review and rating based solely on the Tom Yum Soup--its by far the best around!! We've tried the soup from other thai places, and it doesn't even come close. So if you are a fan of the spicy soup, encourage you to give it a try from here. There other food is good, but not anything special. The soup stands out.

Great Dinner
Stopped in for dinner on a thursday night. seats along the sidewalk are breezy and set back into the restaruant and not right out where people are walking. It was really nice and allowed for people watching. Food was delicious and portions were generous. Watch out for the Lychee Sakitini's - they sneak up on you! We were surprised at how cheap the bill was at the end of the night. I would definitely come back here and recommend it to anyone.
