Went here last week and it was the best fondue I've had in the city! For relatively reasonable prices too! The service was a little snooty, but the food was definitely worth it. We got the mushroom royale with a bruschetta sampler and were absolutely stuffed before the dessert came around, but couldn't resist. The pain perdu was amazing!

As a former waitress, I am very sensitive about tipping. However my experience at Borgeouis Pig caused me to leave no tip for the first time in my life. The waitress completely forgot about us on multiple occasions. She was not busy, we saw her standing around at the bar the whole time. We were in the corner of the restaurant and couldn't get her attention. She brought the food out before the wine, and it was cold when she brought it. Then we waited for 20 minutes for the check until we finally just decided to go up and get it ourselves. She made no apologies at any point and didn't even seem to realize that she had done anything wrong. The food is mediocre at best, especially for the price, and I really don't understand all the hype. Some people might find the ambiance romantic, but I think it's too dark and the layout of the tables is awkward. Save your money on this one.
