Great Happy Hour! But they better bring back the alligator burger. It was the best!!!

Excellent!
I don't know what the other people writing reviews experienced, but I had a great time here. I randomly stopped here before a show, and was pleasantly surprised. Delicious food, good happy hour deals, and tons of beer on tap (including New Orleans beers). And they have a really nice outdoor garden to boot. I would highly recommend eating here.

Looks can be deceiving ...
Horrible food -- Jambalaya was really bad and BBQ calamari was nothing but regular fried calamari soaked in oil. Service was very good -- also could have been cause' we were one of two tables during lunch.

Service better than food
This was probably one of the worst meals i've had in a long time. I ordered Jambalaya and it looked and tasted like something that was thrown together in about 2 minutes. the whole dish was watery. The sausage was missing. There was no flavor to the dish. On the positive note the service was great. I'll go back there again only to have a beer and enjoy the atmosphere.

Poor Food, Decent Service
For this restaurant to claim a link to New Orleans does much to malign that city, as the food here bears no resemblance to the food in the Big Easy. Bourbon Street's version of a muffaletta was a basically a greasy grilled ham and cheese sandwich. They also served their po' boy sandwich without any hint of remoulade sauce. The only bright spot was their Happy Hour drinks which packed quite an alcohol punch for $5. The servers were inept but pleasant.

subpar service, but great food
I live in the area and have been to Bourbon Street a few times. The food is great -- love the burger! The service, however, is unpleasant. The last time I visited Bourbon Street, the waitress "forgot" to bring our water until after our food had been delivered, and she was MIA when we needed refills and our bill. We sat on the front balcony and she never came to check on us. I had a similar experience on my first visit to the restaurant... the waiter never refilled our drinks and never brought the ketchup we asked for. I thought it was a fluke, but this seems to be a pattern at Bourbon Street. From now on, I'm sticking to take-out only with this place.

Good Foord & Service
We went here after a matinee so it wasn't that busy. The hostess was very nice, discussing the play with us and we couldn't ask anything more of the server. The food came out so fast that the server didn't even have time to bring the bread. The jambalya was good and the white chocolate bread pudding was the best bread pudding I've ever had. The decor was pleasant although a little dark. I only wish there were more true cajun meals on the menu.
