I absolutely loved my experience here tonight. My friend and I ordered 6 small plates to share and we loved every single one of them. The service was great and John ( owner? Manager?) came by the table to check in and make sure we were having a great experience. I will 100% be back.

I have been struggling to find a good greek restaurant in manhattan that does not serve kebab and that is not show off (Milos style). Really pleasantly surprised by boukies. In addition of the food, they have some pretty good wines. Will come back!

Had dinner two nights ago with two couples. Everything we had (and we had a lot) was both imaginative and wonderful. Looks like nothing from outside but they put a lot into this restaurant and atmosphere is fun and beautiful. Definitely one of the best (maybe the best) Greek restaurants in Manhattan.

my girlfriend and i stopped by boukies last night for an early dinner. we were seated at one of the super comfortable booth-esc seats. our waiter, vasille(sp?), along with everyone else on staff was super attentive and informed. we never had to ask for anything, they were on top of it. the menu was a bit different then the menu on MP. a whole section, skewers, was removed as well as a couple of other dishes, stuffed squid... we ended up ordering the country salad which was authentic according to my girlfriend who has had it in crete, the warm seafood salad, caviar dip with smoked trout (amazing), grilled octopus with capers (it was so good, had to get a second serving) and since they didnt have the grilled sardines last night, vasille recommended the filo wrapped feta flutes with honey and black pepper (girlfriend loved it). overall the food was all super fresh and not overly fussy, which i think, is the sign of great, authentic greek cuisine. on top of all of this, we didnt have to spend much money to try a bunch of different things. on a side note, i really liked the water glasses, they were super thin.
