Wonderful place to spend time
We live very close to this great tea place and whenever we want to leave the house and have a nice cup of tea with dessert, we go here. They have Wi-fi so we bring our laptops. Their teas are delicious. The Matcha latte is my particular favourite. The desserts, especially the darjeeling tart, is excellent. Servers are all very pleasant and knowledgeable and the atmosphere is quiet, with great music and nicely lit. It's one of our favorite places in the Village for a quiet, relaxing evening.

Great for tea, not much else
I really want to love this place and in some ways I do. I've been tracking this place for months as I walk past it every day to and from work. When it finally opened, I was super excited. I've gone a couple of times since then and have learned the following: Tea is amazinggggg. They have 100 different types of teas and can make you any concoction you want. Also a large pot of tea is enough for 3 people for 3 cups each so in terms of value, it's very good. As for the food, i've only tried the pastries and it's been a sore disappointment. To be fair, I've only gone at night so maybe if i went during the day, it would taste fresher but at night, everything tasted old. Not sure how the other reviewer likes it but this place is slow and quiet, which is what i love about it. I can bring my computer and just chill out the whole day. Staff doesn't mind. It's never super crowded which is what I want when I just wanna do some letter writing or read a magazine. It still has that hidden gem feel to it. So bottom line, come for tea and eat beforehand.

Not recommended
It's a cute little place, sure, but it's just plain weird. Staff are completely disorganized, all the food chillers are filled with condensation, and the restaurant is always empty. Plus, the macaroons are subpar--old, dried up, discolored, like they've been sitting in the refrigerator for weeks. Never again.
