real spanish tapas! great sangria.
i dont get the last review. Latin food? Girl, this is a spanish place, from SPAIN (and more exactly, catalan). If you were expecting rice with beans and plantains... I am from Barcelona and the food was the real thing. Sangria pretty good and the arroz negro is delicious. Good selection of cheeses and ham. Just a bit expensive, but like any other tapas place in the city. And with a way nicer atmosphere than the rest.

Neuvo and Faux latino at $$$$
Presenting itself as a smart yet casual spanish eatery, unfortunately the food here is a great let down. The food portions are beyond tiny for what you pay $$ for and the quality of produce isn't top end, with very little 'authentic' spanish flavor. I was seduced by it's handsome interiors and enjoyable atmosphere, just a shame this is all it has going for it.

Que Paso? What happened?
Been to Boqueria in the past, and it was memorable. Last night is was disappointing. The food is less than average, nothing interesting or inventive, very bland. It was an embarrassment to my guests. The service obnoxious, and we literally had to send back the drinks; watered down.

super fun night out!
Went here one night with a girlfriend for red wine and tapas, but at the other, smaller location in flatiron. the food was amazing- such strong flavors in each dish (we had the blistered peppers, salt cod, and shrimp). This time I went in a group, it's perfect for one of those party nights where you just want to share a bunch of things, drink lots of wine/sangria and not leave feeling like you just gained 300 pounds. It's indulgent without being gross. The service is excellent, knowledgeable, seems to have a good time. I love the energy, brings good vibes. oh, and obsessed with meatballs, lentils (which weren't on menu last time, there's the classic menu and then a "market" menu that changes alot) peppers, jamon, patatas bravas. would be a good place to meet for drinks, too. Sangria is off the hooook.

Good, but Paella Valenciana with chorizo!??
The service was good,. The waiter was very fun and was at the table everytime we needed him. The food quality is good but a little overpriced. The menu? Call it paella, but not Valenciana. I'm from Valencia and we never , nevedr , ever put chorizo on our paella!! That was just painful to see.

Excellent Food, Extremely Small Portions
I went with two other people and although the food quality and taste were amazing, the quantity is almost ridiculous. I know they are tapas but paying $13 for one bite each of lamb seems a bit overpriced. There are many other tapas places that have just as good quality for $4-$5 less per plate.
