Order carefully, dress young
The high point of Boom is its style -- the restaurant is sort of a Romantic grotto as envisioned by Jean-Paul Gaultier. Exposed walls, dark candlelight, quirky colors (the men's room is turqoise, that sort of thing), and trance music in the background, which I loved. Boom has a huge menu, so I'd like to return to sample other choices: My tuna carpaccio appetizer with mango was awesome, however my ravioli was good but not extraordinary, and my companion got a very mediocre buffalo burger. The melted choco cake rocks however! Service is polite but perfunctory. But the warm and chic ambience is marvellous, so I would recommend this as more of a relaxing after work spot than a special occasion restaurant. Prices are so reasonable, however, that I certainly felt we got our money's worth.

Fantastic
If you want a proper view of how to live in NYC visit Boom, its just simply fantastic!! The service is great and there are always friendly people there to talk to!! Don't miss out on a great night, otherwise you'll miss out on a great time in NYC! Once you go, you have to go again.

Thursday night Chef is wonderful
On Thursday nights there is a chef straight from Morocco. The food was fantastic! The restaurant has a friendly atmosphere, and great service.

Just like a lil of Tuscany in Tribeca
You have to go there to find out and you have to go there again,,..I love it !!
