Trendy Spot, Food not so hot
Had a very enjoyable evening here with a friend. It was a Wed. and when we arrived about 6:30ish it was pretty empty. When we left a few hours later it was packed with a fun crowd and live music. We lucked out and got a window table and it was great people watching. We found the server very attentive and the service fabulous. We ordered 2 appetizers and a pizza to share and asked to have it brought out separately since we weren’t in a rush. They handled the request perfectly. We started off w/ bruchetta then the caprice salad and then a shared pizza. The food was nothing special. We left full and happy but it wasn't a food destination. A great place for wine, music and people watching in a fun area but don't expect fancy food.

food isn't good!!
I walked in here on a saturday night with some friends. The food was a disappointment, especially for the price. My duck ragout pasta was $16 or $18, and it was really bad. How can you mess up pasta? The duck was little square pieces, like they had opened a can. I could barely make myself eat this dish. I had to nibble from my friend's pizza order, which wasn't that great either, but it was better than mine. I don't recommend coming here and will not be coming back myself. The atmosphere is good though- they had live music- but it was a bit too loud.

Great place
We popped in on that freezing cold night of the "miracle on the Hudson" plane crash. We had a wonderful meal. The food was exceptional, and the singer was captivating. The place filled up, but we were never rushed. Another wonderful NYC restaurant.

Boom Fizzles
I wandered into this very cute looking spot after a shopping trip for a light meal. The wine list was good, especially by the glass selections, but that's where the positive aspects end. The waitress said nothing but "yes" in response and wasn't friendly in the least. I ordered the Parma Bruschetta and a salad. The Bruschetta consisted of 2 pieces of chewy toasted baguette on top of which was laid some cold prosciutto, cold cheese and the hardest tomatoes you've ever tasted. The salad was huge, and hugely disappointing. Shredded iceberg lettuce, cheap (and a tiny portion) of balsamic dressing, celery, and the same aforementioned tomatoes. Oh and supposedly there was fennel somewhere in there. I was really shocked that such a nice looking spot in a great location can get away with such mediocre food. To add insult to injury everything is incredibly overpriced. They should move this excuse for an eatery to Times Square and leech off of tourists who don't know any better.

Good food, fun time
Visiting for the weekend, we happened upon this cozy, vibrant restaurant. Friendly service, excellent food. Homemade gnocchi and roasted red pepper, eggplant soup delicious. Drinks a little pricey but would definitely go back.

Very Cute Spot
I have eaten here plenty of times and every time I am always happy. On the weekends they have some live music which is always great and festive, The lunch / brunch is awesome and really affordable. All in all a great place

Watch out for the drinks
Went here with a bunch of friends last saturday night. We were 10 people and got a table for 8 so we were cramped. Our waiter had the worst body odor. The food was not that good. I ordered the eggplant for $15. Totally not worth it. I thought it might come with some sort of side or pasta for that price but it didn't. It was very small and not tasty at all. Really bad. Don't drink alcohol at this restaurant. My wife had a glass of wine at $9. I was fine with that but still thought it was a little overpriced. I ordered a Captain Morgan and soda water, which i drink often. This drink is usually about $8 at most decent establishments. We got the bill and they were $12 each. This is a ridiculous price. It's not like it's a glass of scotch or a fancy martini. A mixed drink for $12..the nerve to charge that much. Boom is not a club but yet they charge like they are. I'm surprised we didn't have to pay a $20 cover just to get in.
