Excellent Food and Service
I was here with my girlfriend and her sister. We all ordered bibimbops (I had the seaweed and they had the tofu) as well as an appetizer. We were all very hungry and we basically devoured our food! Portion sizes are generous and they also have a great drink menu. I can't speak to the authenticity of the food, but it was a nice mixture of savory and spicy.

great
I had the Dolsot Bibimbop with beef and chicken and both times the service was great and the food was excellent. It is very rare that you get quality food and service at a reasonable price in nyc. I will continue to eat here and brag to my friends about Bonjoo

excellent food & service
I was skeptical about Korean restaurants outside of the K-Town at first, but proven wrong. While the atmospohere is atypical (in a positive sense) for a Korean restaurant, the food was great (even for native Korean taste), and the waitstaff was very friendly and professional. My personal favorites include Galbi and Pajeon.

Bonjoo
There is nothing better on a cold night than a steaming bowl of Bibimbop from Bonjoo. Amazing.

Delicious food!
My mother is Korean - and is a fabulous chef - so I'm constantly on the lookout for good Korean restaurants. My husband and I have tried most (if not all) of the restaurants in K-town, and throughout Manhattan, and Bonjoo is definitely one of the best (even my super-critical Korean mother approves!). The chicken bokum is delicious (but VERY hot), as are the mandoo (dumplings) and kimchi pancakes. And my husband, who is a dolsot bibimbop expert, claims that theirs is the best in nyc (after my mom's of course!)!

The best Korean
So, my friend, whose wife is Korean, has been dragging me to Korean places for months looking for the best bibimbop and Korean BBQ. Not that I haven't enjoyed our jaunts to various places, but Bonjoo is the place we keep coming back to. This place is fabulous - everything from their apps to soups to bbq to bibimbop. Plus the service is top notch. And, not only is this the most authentic, it's also a great value. What's not to love? I get such a kick out of people who'd rather got to some place like Woo Lae Oak just because it's in Soho instead of here. Sure, Bonjoo's drink manu isn't as eclectic, but I really think their food is miles above.

Been looking for years!
Well what can I say.... I've been looking for the perfect beef bibimbop in nyc and my wife finally the key to my stomach!! Finally, sizzling bibimbop and not the usually warm beef and cold rice and vegetables. And to top it all, San Loco's is just around the corner for that last minute path train ride beef taco loco snack back to Hoboken. Gotta love it!!
