I love this place. The lunch specials are good, reasonably priced with a good amount of food. The cornbread is awesome. The staff is always very nice and friendly. Don't let the fact that the place is empty sway you from going inside. The delivery is also pretty fast and there's outdoor seating with great happy hour specials.

Villagers should be crowding this place. This is great authentic wood-smoked barbeque with delicious sides. Ribs, sandwiches, chicken are all smoked well and the sauce is tasty. The baked beans and yams are unconventional and the cornbread is delicious. We also enjoyed the iceberg-wedge salad with blue cheese and the beet salad with mandarin orange slices and honey toasted walnuts. Eating in or take out have been good experiences, though a portion of the waitstaff can be a little “high-schoolish” in the way they focus more attention on some tables rather than others.

After several visits addicted to the Baby Back Ribs, I decided to do something different and ordered the Combo - Smoked Turkey and Texas Links. Now I'm hooked, especially on the turkey. I cannot get enough of it. This weekend was warm enough to sit at an outdoor table, so it was Smoked Turkey al fresco. I love the staff here, so fun and accommodating. Thanks from a faithful neighbour.

The atmosphere of Bone Lick is enticing. Good drinks and fantastic service. On the down side, the food is not worth the dosh. Our party chose not to order the ribs as the table next to ours informed us upon sitting down of their quality. Should have left then.... Ordered the catfish sandwich which was a disappointment. Thin, flavorless and greasy. It's a shame that the food isn't up to snuff with the service and decor.

I got their delivery. The voice on the phone was professionally sexy male. He was very much at my attention. I ordered Baby Back Ribs that was highly recommended. It comes with one side so I ordered Macaroni and cheese. I thought I need some veggie so I added Iceberg Wedges with Maytag Blue and bacon. The food arrived about 20 minutes later. It was weekday around 6 pm. The delivery was fast as Gobo on Sixth Avenue. The presentation of the delivery was well executed as Pastis delivery in Meat Market. The food even looked excellent and smell of barbeque was nice. I started from the ribs. There was not much taste and barbeque sauce was too strong for the meat. Macaroni and cheese also did not have any taste or flavor. Best macaroni and cheese in my neighborhood that I had was Cafeteria on 17th Street and Seventh. Their macaroni and cheese has done the carmarization on the top ? the brown-crispness. There was a corn bread with the ribs but this too?.has little taste! I was disappointed by then. But I had last dish, the Iceberg Wedges salad. It?s sad to know that the salad was the best from the order. Every aspect was excellent but the food! I wish I liked their food because I love the restaurant. When I go to eat, the food is the main. I like what they are trying to do so much so I would try one more time for their very reasonable lunch. I hope I can find something l like.

I love Bone Lick Park. The baby back ribs are delicious, the sides are delicious, and now they are serving my most favorite thing in the world - Texas Hot Links! Thank you Bone Lick Park for making it a little easier to be away from home!

During the summer I remember I had a couple of guests over for the weekend, and they ventured out for drinks and when they came back several hours later they had told me they found a charming place to have some mango margaritas. Only hunting drinks at first they sat in a comfortable and secure feeling outside arrangement behind boxes of sunflowers, at a place called ?Bone Lick Park? After trying the different flavors of margaritas their server had suggested they try some appetizers. By the time my houseguests had returned they told me about a feast they had in my own neighborhood! I had to try it for my self. I was greeted at the door promptly by a sever who was holding 3 different plates in his arms, he pleasantly told me he would be right back to seat me as soon as he was free, without any annoyance or distress in his face. I was surprised at this and already felt comfortable. I didn?t have to wait long at all as an evening manager or possibly owner saw me and proceeded to seat me at a table, obviously meant for more than one, it was more than enough room but I obliged, I agreed that if the restaurant needed the extra table I would fully comply, as it seemed only fair. I started of with a yummy margarita; the flavor was packed with peach, Georgia peach to be exact. Then I took the waiters recommendation and tried the ?Full Rack of Baby Back Ribs?, which always includes one side of my choice! The servers, or should I say tall, handsome, and charming waiters did there best to make a 50, I mean 40 year old woman (a? hem), eating alone, feel comfortable, I never once felt alienated or neglected, the beauty of the dining room is there is no where for the servers to hide anyway, not that they wouldn?t have time because they were busy running huge plates of ribs and sides of veggies back and fourth. When they weren?t running food, the waiters were actually taking time out to care about their customers dining experience. Bone Lick Park is the perfect addition to the area.
