Bond 45

I'm from england and recently came to new york on a holiday, we attended Bond 45 on west 45th street, manhattan. I found the food delicious, especially the spagetti and meatballs, plus the waitress gave us some good advice on the sights to visit, overall, i would rate this resturaunt a 4.5 out of 5, the service was excellent, and the food was brilliant. New York is the best city ever!!

We went on a night that was not busy; there were several empty tables which is why it didn't make sense that it took 20 minutes for someone to approach our table, especially seeing as we had a reservation. The staff knows there stuff, which would only come in handy if they occassionally stopped by. We needed to be out by 730 and we got our check at 745. Yes, we told the waiter when we needed to be out and he said that we would be. The food was good, especially the mozzerella, but I'm not heading back any time soon.

The food was pretty good (would definitely come back) and the service and atmosphere were excellent. I have to say, though, that the Cannolis were out of this world. Would go back for those alone.

The food was very good, but not exceptional. I think their dishes are priced accordingly. The law of diminishing return dictates that in order for me to get a better dish, I would have to pay exhorbitant amount of price. This restaurant is the happy medium in between the outrageous price and great quality. The service was excellent. The atmosphere was great. They had nice selection of daily special cocktails which I liked very much.

The best part about this place was the service, it was excellent. The food was just ok and rather pricy considering I wasn't impressed. Also, if you are looking for a romantic spot this isn't the place for that either, since it was very bright with loud music.

I work in the neighborhood and frequently get taken out for lunch by vendors. I was excited when Bond 45 opened, as it could be a new option. I went there for lunch and while the food was OK -- it was nothing to write home about. The main courses were just average --- I would say the level of Carmine's just across Broadway but at twice the price. The antipasti's choices were better but they are also very pricey. The decor is great and has a great warmth --- it is trying to be old world Italian. But overall, I wouldn't go back, even if someone else is paying. There are a lot better places in the area to eat for that amount of money.

Great food, service , atmosphere and selection . Service was warm and friendly. We were a group of 8 women and enjoyed sharing the antipasto platters along with the entrees of the day and regular menu items. Would definately go again.
