Not worth it.
I work in the neighborhood as a concierge, couple of days ago I had my friends and went to the Bond 45, I really wanted to see and the taste the food since i send people there i wanted to the go there. The place looks nice, but i can't say the same thing for the service and the food. Even though restaurant wasn't that crowded we had a avarage service i would get a better service in most of the diners. We ordered steak but it wasn't cook the way we wanted which i know what i want i go to diffrent stake houses around the city and i know a little about steaks this wasn't worth the half of the price that i paid for it. I am not talking about the seafood because i have no idea. But i will not go there again and if you want to eat a good steak this is not the place for you.

Not Great
Five people were stuffed in a booth that at best seats four. The noise level was was so high that it was nearly impossible to have a conversation with the person across the table. While my starter was very flavorful, it was cold. I had ordered the lemon chicken at lunch a month prior and it was outstanding. The dinner version was not cutlets and it was not cooked all the way through, so only the edges were edible. By the time the waiter returned the other guests had finished their meals. None of them were impressed. Maybe it was just a bad night, but with all the choices in NYC, Bond 45 comes off my list.

Overpriced and not good
$40 for dried out veal parmesan; $36 for a dry filet mignon. The filet was cooked medium, but somehow, it was still dry. So many better place to choose from.

Pricey but worth it
This is one of the best Italian restaurants in the theatre district. The food is very good-- the quality and the selections. We had the salmon, which was the freshest I have ever had in an Italian restaurant. And the pasta twists were so good, even my six year old niece, who is very picky about food, ate everything. That is in itself an accomplishment. The antipasto bar is wonderful and very fresh. The service is good but a bit slow, because they get so crowded. The space is big and decorated in an old style-- which makes you feel like you're out of New York. I would recommend it before going to a show, because they are right down the street from the major theatres.

Spend some profits on silverware
Having eaten in 100's of restaurants in NYC, I don't think I've ever waited 15 minutes for a spoon for my at that point cold coffee and melted ice cream. Way too many better and less over priced places to choose from-ones that have silverware.

The best buffalo mozzarella caprese EVER!
...but that's about all that was great (except for the crunchy, delicious, chocolate-covered toffee set out by the front of the restaurant, which I highly recommend you grab a nibble of on your way out!). The seafood pappardelle was nothing to shout about. The seafood was overcooked, the pasta was dry, and there was barely any sauce. The seafood risotto fared no better. I prefer my risotto with a creamy sauce. This is the first place I have ever tried it with a tomato-based sauce, and I have to say, I didn't even know that was an option. Well, it won't be an option for me ever again. I did not like this dish. As for the veal, the sauce was delicious, but the veal itself was rather chewy. Way overpriced! The calamari & shrimp appetizer was pretty standard, but as per the title of this entry, the burrata mozzarella caprese is ridiculously good. It is the freshest, creamiest, most decadent mozzarella I have ever had. It is so soft, you don't even have to use a knife to cut through it. I would go back just for that!....but that is the only thing I would go back for. It also gets quite loud, so not a good place for conversation.

Wayyyy Overpriced
Won't be going back here anytime soon. Food was just OK, but to spend that much money on Pasta is ridiculous. Theater district or not, definitely not worth it. Sorry folks, my personal opinion there are so many fine Italian restaurants in the area - keep on going and pass this one by.
