    Satisfied but confused

Food was good and I was happy they deliver when the vicinity gave them the option. Vegetable soup and fresh shrimps were satisfying. So was the naan and they gave me a huge piece of bread on the side, happy about this. However the delivery guy came and I gave him a 3 dollar tip for a 14 dollar meal and he wasnt satisfied. This is so strange especially when he spilled my spiced tea all over the bag, so now what I get that 2.50 back? Guess I will call back tomorrow. Satisfied but confused.

Excellent food! Comfortable atmosphere and the service is personable. The wait staff is very gracious. I will be back again and again!

    Something's changed

Found Bombay Masala about four years ago and it was a total score. They had what I liked best (Bombay Liver w Poori, lamb bhuna, etc, and on). Must have gone there 10 times always with friends who became devotees. Then about two years ago I went again and ordered Bombay Liver. What arrives was a plate of oily onions with some bits of chiken liver. I complained to the waiter and the owner/host came to our table. When I asked happened he told me "We're trying a new taste. Onions have a lot of taste - more onions, more taste." I askeed what had happened to his cook and received an evasive answer. He said I hope you'll give us another chance. I did - a year later this past September, and that was the last time. I don't know what happened to his cook but if Icould find out where he's cooking, I'd go there. Any other former Bombay Masala afficionados with the same experience?

This spot puts the "bomb" in Bombay...

Need I say more? OK, I will. This place is one of NY's best. Eat there. You'll like it.

    Best in BK....

This is easily the best Indian spot in Brooklyn. With the decline of most of the restaurants in Jackson Heights in recent years, it's nice to have this place in the area. The fact they deliver as far as Clinton Hill is beyond a bonus as well!

Omg the best indian food ever

First of all, I think the food is under priced. I went for my bday, and about 12 people and the bill came up to $177. The price included appetizer and the entree. WOW. Second, the food was delicious. Every entree was amazing. I ate from everyone's plate. I was so mad that I couldn't eat anymore...because my belly was that full. The service was great. We had a great time there.

    Good but Inconsistent

I've ordered from here a number of times using Seamless Web. The food is excellent however there have been a number of occasions where they've delivered incomplete orders. One time it was missing the Mango Lassi, one time it was missing the Raita, another time it was missing the Chicken Tikka Masala! If you order, check the food before the delivery man leaves!
