Dinner for two (4)?
We ordered the vegetarian dinner for two, which came with two appetizers, two soups, two entrees, rice, raita, choose of bread, and two desserts. Everything tasted great and it was enough for four. We are currently incapacitated by deliciousness and we will be back for more!

One of my favorites
I used to live down the street from this place but I moved to Williamsburg so can't go here as often as I used to. Definitely one of the best Indian places in NY. Great, friendly service and terrific food. Their tandoori chicken is the best and I love the mulligatawny soup too. Great prices on everything as well...I definitely miss it!

Incredible service with the food to match!
The owners and waiters went out of their way to make my eating experience one to remember. Constantly were checking on me, continually gave "on the house" items, and answered any questions. Has a great outdoor eating area in the back. Couldn't think the food could live up, but it blew away expectations. Can't believe this place isn't packed everyday.

Service in every sense
Not only was the food some of the best Indian I've had, they went out of their way to make the experience pleasant. Great outdoor seating. Incredibly generous waiters and owners. And best of all, the food kept par with the spectacular service and atmosphere. Can't believe it took me a month to try this place out. Between Chivellas and Marsala, I have 2 nights planned a week.

Bombay Masala, you complete me
a few things: 1) we have never been inside this restaurant, but menupages insisted that we rate its atmosphere. so we gave it a 5, because we love it. 2) why do we love it? because it is the best! a delightful beanery from which to summon one's supper. the food is scrumptious! the service -- such that it is, I mean the process of ordering by phone -- is always an extreme delight. courteous & gastronomically wise persons are always very helpful on the phone, & delivery is always prompt. 3) plus, the food is great! if you don't order from this place, you are your own butt. I mean, ok, that's a joke, ha ha, but this is a fantastic restaurant. to get better it would have to become twins! 4) especially recommended, by us, are the tasty garlic curry, the interesting & fun liver, & the many hand-spun soups. the less unusual menu items are pretty toothsome too, like chickens tandoori & tikka masala. 5) we really can't recommend the place highly enough. there's a reason it's got no bad reviews on menupages!!!!!

Looking for Lunch
After spending the morning at the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens we found our favorite sandwich shop temporarily closed and walked in here instead. We were not disappointed. Excellent food, excellent service.
