    Great for delivery

We order from them all the time and the food is consistent and delicious. Can be a bit pricey but it's usually worth it. The samosas are great and ask for an order of mango chutney on the side - it's amazing.

Ok, but not as I remembered

I was really craving a curry - and all that curry is: Spicy but not too spicy, rich and full tasting. It was bland, no spice/heat at all and lacked any depth. I usually like this place, but now I think I will try something else.

    Repeat costumer :)

When I have a craving for indian food, this is the only place I go. I usually go for lunch a little after 1pm when they open but after 2pm they get a bit busy. The meat dishes and veggie dishes are very tasty. Their bread and rice are yummy , too. I'm always upset when I can't finish all the food on my plate since I hate asking for a to go bag. The prices are good and the food is wonderful. The service can be a bit slow but worth it. My tummy is very happy after leaving :) Sometimes when they are feeling gracious they give free rice pudding.

    Food is mediocre at best

Went here because it was the closest Indian place to my apartment. The food ranged from mediocre to poor. Samosas and naan were ok but boring. The curry tasted like something you could get out of a jar. The salad was just bad, I couldn't eat more than a bite. I can think of nothing to recommend for it.

It's not great, but it'll do

I've had sumptuous Indian food, but this is not it. I've stopped expecting it in Brooklyn. But Bombay Grill's food is decent and good in a pinch. What bugs me is the service. They tend to be understaffed and sometimes brusque in manner. If you call for takeout, the person at the counter will put the phone down and leave it there while he/she waits tables, so you might wait awhile. The lunch special is a good deal. Sadly, they've discontinued the takeout lunch box.

    Best food. Disappointing delivery times.

By far, this is the best indian food around. The delivery service, on the other hand, has deteriorated to the point that a 1-2 hour wait is the norm. Tonight's wait is a whopping 2:10 and we're still waiting....They won't even comp us for the inconvenience. I wont be ordering again. Such a shame....

    Very good

Love this place, get delivery all the time. The appetizer/entree combo is a great deal. Samosas and chicken tikka masala rock.
