Good food
Just ate here tonight with my boyfriend. The food was absolutely delicious. While neither my boyfriend or I have ever gone out to eat Indian cuisine before, we were not disappointed. However, I would recommend that people go there for lunch, because for what you pay, you don't get so much. And between the both of us, we only got a small dish of rice. It was so delicious, but a little pricy. I suppose you are paying for taste. I would recommend this restaurant for taste, but for value, perhaps go down the next street on 52nd, where they serve salad and bread free with the dinner. But it is very tasty, and the waiters were very nice and patient. I had the chicken tikka masala, and my boyfriend had butter chicken. Very tasty.

Love this place!
We are long time Hell's Kitchen residents and have been coming here forever for chicken vindaloo and chicken dal saag. The food is authentic, fresh and flavorful. Vindaloo isn't just spicy but has a myriad of flavors lurking under the heat. The staff is super friendly and always giving us little extras free of charge. We eat or order out diner from New Bombay at least twice a month. Oh, did I mention how inexpensive it is!

Great Lunch Special
I had a taste for indian food at work but did not want to spend a crap load of money. This spot has a lunch special and delivers which was perfect for my situation. The food was good, could use a little more flavor, spices and veggies but for the price the value is amazing. Entree, rice, naan and salad. It took me two days to eat all of the food.

Great Indian restaurant!
We loved this restaurant! We were a party of 7. Some of us have eaten Indian food in London many times, and were very pleased with this restaurant, especially the chicken and lamb vindaloo and chicken curry, although their specialty is chicken tikka masala. For one person it was too spicy and the waiter/owner offered to make his sauce milder, which was very much appreciated and it came back perfect. He also refilled our rice several times and gave us good advice on what to order. With appetizers, main course, naan (excellent!), and beverages, it came to under $20 a person. Definitely recommend it!

Very very good!!
I called to order something no longer on the menu and was ecstatic when the guy on the phone said "Sure, I can make that for you." Great food, fast delivery.

OMG!!!
ate here last week and let me tell you- do not waste your time. take a chance and eat at any of the other number of restaurants lining 9th ave. we ordered and ate ( food was ok) initially the wait staff was so nice to us they even threw in rice pudding but the minute they found out we had a Restaurant.com coupon everything changed. the waiter was rude and decided that he would interpret it in his lingo and did not accept it. He stated it had expired. it does not expire until 9/2010. claimed his boss told him not to accept. i asked to speak to the boss but he "wasn't there" so when did he speak to his boss. he never made a call while i was there. do not waste your time
