I have eaten from this restaurant countless times and have to admit that the food is the best tasting Indian food. After trying a few places, It's the only place I will order from when I need delicious, full of flavor, authentic Indian food. I regularly place orders and find that the staff is extremely friendly, willing to go out of their way to accommodate your request. If you prefer your food to be spicy or not, you can certainly request this. Also, the food is delivered in a timely manner, never having to wait too long like some other restaurants.

We ordered from bombay express via Seamless Web and were very satisfied by the end of the night. We had veggie samosas, chicken tikka masala, lamb rogan josh, naan, and garlic naan. The samosas were crispy and flaky outside. The tikka masala's sauce was probably the best we've tried. Lamb was a bit tough, probably a bad night. And that plain naan was thick and excellent. I knew, perhaps, that the garlic naan would be too much, and it was. I'll probably get the onion one next time. But I will definitely order from here again. I cannot comment on the atmosphere, because I ordered out. But I have walked by here 4 times a week and it's not the best looking place. But who needs it to be when your stomach's satisfied.

this is one of the greatest INDIAN restaurant i have ever been into...i was amazed by their cheap price and also the quality of the food...nice..great job...

I ordered food from here for the first time. Food was really poor, not at all authentic indian. Roti was very dry and rubbery. Not going to order from this place again...

I tried. 45 min is my limit in waiting for food for delivery. I live 3 blocks away from this restaurant. I ordered out from them for this first and last time today. After waiting 35 min. I called to check on the delivery. I was told it just left. 10 min later it still wasnt at my door. As I've said, I live 3 blocks away. It should have been there. When I called back to cancel the order, the person answering said no problem and tried to hang up quick like he had not a care in the world. Did they ever even make my food? I'll never know.

I rarely eat-in, but I order take-out at least once a month. Great food, fast service, reasonable prices and friendly staff. Definitely recommend for take-out in Hell's Kitchen!!

I've always thought service is at least as important as the food. Let's face it, in NY you are spoilt for choice and you rarely go somewhere because of a particular dish. Indian food is available aplenty and the differentiators are location and experience. And the real test of service is not the smiles when they seat you and process your credit card, which is easy to do, but how they deal with something when it goes wrong. I had a major service issue here during the lunch buffet here and was totally disappointed by their response - they grudgingly admitted they were in the wrong but too late, and only after they became worried others would overhear the complaint, which was specific and relevant to everyone else. All this, while lumping on a forced tip for a party of 2, is not a pleasant experience. To top it all off, the food was nothing outstanding to compensate. Wouldn't recommend it.
