Bombay Dream - Why didn't I try this place sooner?
I've lived in the neighborhood for 2 years but for some reason put off going to Bombay Dream and I regret not going there sooner. The food was outstanding, the portions were huge and the service was quick. My only criticism is that the restaurant was oddly quiet (they awkwardly refill your water glass every 5 minutes) and they don't serve liquor but hey, its not that big of a deal. Bombay Dream is a family owned place and I like supporting local & small businesses so I'll definitely be back!

Great!
We've tried all of the indian in the area and Bombay Dream is our dream come true. Great food, great service and delivery is adequate. Try it. We love the vegetable korma and paneer tika masala for the contrast of mild and spicy. My only complaint is the naan is bland and dry.

Finally! Good Indian food in the nabe
My husband and I went to this place once when we first moved here in 2008. The food was unappetizing, and we avoided it for a long time. But in desperation, we ordered from here 3 or 4 months ago, and it was amazing. I kid you not: authentic, delicious, subtly favored food. I was hugely surprised. Since then, its become a weekly Sunday night favorite, and it has never disappointed. We usually do delivery, so I can't speak for the ambience, but we finally have good Indian food in the neighborhood, hurray!

Delightful Indian Restaurant
My wife and I have been frequenting Bombay Dream enthusiastically for the past year and a half. We have found the atmosphere and service to be lovely, and the food always pleasing. Apparently there was a change in chef several months ago, which seems to be working out well. I have always loved the tandoori chicken here, as well as the korma with the naan, and my wife enjoys the somosas, the saag and vegetarian dishes. Occasionally we venture to a meat dish, and a lamb biryani dish that we had recently was particularly generous and nicely flavoured. This restaurant is quite pretty and pleasant to dine in, though we join the crowd and sometimes get take out as well.

The McDonalds of Indian Food
When I say the McDonalds of Indian food, I don't mean that in an entirely bad way. All the entrees are americanized, but taste great it that's what you're in the mood for. I ordered delivery and the food came really fast. However, we ordered cheese Na'an thinking it would have paneer in it and it had melted american cheese, which is just plain weird. Randomly, still tasty.

Delicious
The Tikka Masala here is AMAZING. The sweetness actually adds to the vibrant flavors rather than taking away from them. It's my favorite Indian restuarant in Brooklyn.

I want real flavor, not tomato soup
I just braved it and ordered from this place because the reviews were good but I was sorely disappointed. The chicken Tikka Masala tasted like tomato soup, without real spice, the Saag Paneer tasted like regular old creamed spinach and the Vegi Korma was just plain sweet. The strangest was the cheese naan that tasted like it was full of velveeta. I would not recommend this place to anyone who likes Indian food. I will stick to Murray Hill from now on.
