    Great Vietnamese Sandwiches

I have been here a number of times for their sandwiches. The bread is really fresh, the ingredients are tasty, and you get plenty of food. While I'm sure you can get better and cheaper in Vietnam, this is midtown. The service is quick and the people are very nice.

    amazing soup and coffee

Just ordered from here for the first time with a few people in my office. They are saying how good this place is. I am definitely going back.

    Ditto

Ditto to the review below. I was super excited for a good Vietnamese place for lunch. The traditional sandwich was ok but the prices are just too outrageous for sandwiches and noodles. Come on, really, 3 meatballs as part of the lunchbox menu? Are the meatballs that special to be paying almost 8 bucks for it? I think not. Rather take a ride to Chinatown and get a better meal for half the price.

    Um...no. really.

I was very excited about this place as I first saw the store opened because 1) I LOVE Vietnamese noodle and sandwiches 2) there was no Vietnamese place around the area (mid town - boring!). I tried their "traditional" sandwich and my coworker got shrimp sandwich. They were both not good. The pickled vegetable were soggy and the pate tasted flat, the shrimp was too raw to be between bread... I did go to Vietnam and had the banh-mi sandwich almost everyday and loved them. Also, I know a couple really good Vietnamese sandwich shops in lower east side and China town, and the prices are like 1/2 of this place... I wish I could leave a good review because people who work there seems really nice and trying their best... I might try their noodle just to say I gave another chance though... Oh, mango coconut dessert was pretty nice.
