    So Bummed

Just found Bodrum and as parents of a newborn, were really excited to have an addtl yummy option. However, on our second order in a week, we ordered one of their pizzas along with several other items. My husband is very allergic to tomatoes so I asked if the pizza was an olive oil base. The hostess replied that it was. I then asked again if there were any tomatoes on the pizza at all b/c my husband is allergic. She said no. We ordered and it came with tomatoes so we nicely called back and told them the error. My husband ordered another entree. A few minutes later, the manager or owner called back verbally assaulting my husband and implying we were trying to pull a scam to receive a more expensive item (the new entree cost $4 more which we were happy to pay). He finally agreed to deliver the new entree after the hostess admitted to telling us there were no tomatoes (although he called it a miscommunication). Very sad that I can't support this restaurant anymore and I hope the manager/owner learns to treat his customers with a little more respect.

    Gracious Hospitality

We live in upstate NY and visited NYC this weekend. We wanted to treat several of our NYC nieces and nephews to a relaxed meal at the end of their workday on a Friday night. We needed to have time together. We searched for a place that offered a nice variety of entrees, interesting cuisine, and one which wouldn't rush us out the door immediately following dinner. After some research, we selected Bodrum Mediterranean, and we were most pleased with the meal and their gracious hospitality. We were able to order several bottles of wine for the table without breaking the bank. The mezze allowed us to sample a little of each appetizer. We ordered two for our table of 7, and every item appealed to our palates. Two of our party ordered the kebab with chicken; two ordered the salmon, two ordered brick oven pizzas with prosciutto and/or sausage. Most important for us was the fact that no one rushed us through dinner despite the fact that seating is tight and patrons were waiting. We loved the place, and we are eager to return.

    delivery experience not too shabby

price is a little bit pricey (small portions) but so worth it! food is excellent (hummus and chicken kebob - i still have to try the others) and delivered hot from the kitchen on time! delivery service is also courteous and pleasant. i would highly recommend this place!

    corking fee

The same thing happened to me! I was told BYOB and then all of a sudden, I get charged an outrageous amount ($50) for uncorking 2 bottles.

Great food, don't be fooled by the BYOB

I went to Bodrum at lunch for a friend's birthday celebration. The outside seating area is great, you feel far from the sidewalk and street. We started with the appetizer sampling plate and the lebne is delicious! The Proscuitto di Parma pizza with whole wheat crust was very light and cooked to perfection. My only problem-- the $25 per bottle corking fee!! The restaurant has a full bar now (we didn't know this ahead of time), so the corking fee alone isn't unusual, but $25 per bottle, especially during lunch is outrageous! Bodrum is meant to be a neighborhood spot, but I didn't leave feeling that way after blatantly being taken advantage of with an absurd corking fee!

    Great Service

Service was extremely attentive. Appetizers and bread were delicious. Pizza was pretty good- I do not love lamb so I am not sure why I ordered it so I wont comment. Wine list standardly overpriced. Next time I would probably do all appetizers. Dinner for 2 with wine and apps was about $80
