loveeeeeee love love love.
i go here at the very least once a week. its so so so yummy and the lunch special is delishhh. anyone who had a bad experience here either reviewed the wrong restaurant or just had one of those days where everything simply goes wrong. FOR SURE recommend. the service isnt five star but the people are all pretty nice and ive never had any real problems with it.

Never going back
I had one of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had at this place. Here's what happened (in a nutshell): based on my boyfriend's recommendation (he's somehow obsessed with this place), a good friend and I met up there for dinner on a Friday night. Not only did they not acknowledge me for over 15 minutes after I arrived to meet her, requiring me to get up and find someone to ask for a menu and water, but the music was so loud I could barely think or talk. After finally ordering, our food took over twenty minutes to arrive AND the order was incorrect but the waiter was already gone.. I could not get their attention to correct the situation. My friend, who was going through hard times and confiding in me almost wanted to leave.. I had to get out of my seat again to find someone to come fix the incorrect order. Finally our bill arrived (after asking at least three times). Nothing was comped, no gesture was made AT ALL despite our inconsiderate treatment. I work in food service myself and would NEVER treat anyone this way. I am never going back ever despite the adequate food quality and relative value. No thanks Bhodi Tree, no thanks.

Best deal on Thai
My girlfriend and I ate an obscene amount of food for not much money as part of their two appetizer + a main for $10 deal. Delicious, authentic and reasonable. Will definitely be back.

stellar thai food
This is the first restaurant that I've given 5 stars to across the board on menupages. And they really do deserve it. I've been there for dinner and had the cashew nut with chicken entree. The gravy was very tasty and there was a generous amount of chicken in the dish. I've also had the spicy basil noodles, which was very good. My favorite dish is the Thai Fried Rice. Get this and it does not disappoint. The rice is cooked to perfection and again, there's plenty of meat in the dish. I usually get it with the chicken curry puff and spring rolls. You get the entree and 2 small portion apps for $7! I've been living in the city for 2 years and this is the best lunch deal I've come across. Not only is it a great deal, but the quality of the food rivals and for the most part beats any of the 10+ other thai places I've tried in NYC. They also have affordable prices on Thai beers, which is a plus. The decor is very good - nice interior decorating with a small bar makes the place look inviting. They also open up the glass doors in warm weather so the whole front of the restaurant is completely open. All in all, a solid place to get some affordable, great tasting thai food.
